Build richer content sliders in Gutenberg
Content Slider Block Pro adds advanced presentation controls to the Content Slider Block for the Gutenberg editor. It is designed for creating swipeable, visually focused slide sections without writing code. Each slide can present a title, description, and call-to-action button over a color, gradient, or image background.
The block can support hero sections, promotional announcements, campaign messages, image showcases, and other page content that benefits from sequential presentation. Responsive column settings help adapt the slider layout for desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
Organize and style individual slides
Pro adds sortable slide management, allowing slides to be reordered with drag and drop. This makes it easier to revise the sequence of headlines, offers, visuals, or calls to action as a page changes.
Each slide can also use border style options. Together with the available background, typography, color, button, and content-position controls, these settings provide a way to create distinct slide designs while keeping them inside one Gutenberg block. Content can be positioned in preset locations or dragged into place within the slide.
More control over autoplay and movement
Advanced autoplay settings give you control over how the slider progresses. You can set a delay time, disable autoplay after interaction, reverse the direction, pause when the mouse enters, or stop the slider on the last slide. These options help you adapt the motion behavior to different types of content and visitor interaction.
Free Mode allows movement during dragging, while the Sticky option helps maintain a settled slide position. Visitors can also navigate with the keyboard or mousewheel, providing additional ways to move through the content beyond touch and on-screen controls.
Use additional visual effects
Alongside the Slide, Fade, and Creative transitions, the Pro edition adds Cube, Coverflow, Flip, and Cards effects. These choices let you vary the visual treatment of a slider for different page sections, from straightforward content rotation to more prominent presentation styles.
Pagination and navigation can be displayed or hidden, with dynamic styles, clickable pagination, and dynamic bullets available. Pro also adds device visibility controls for showing or hiding pagination and navigation on tablet and mobile layouts.
Style the slider wrapper and place it where needed
Wrapper styling options provide background and padding controls for the slider container. This can help separate the slider from surrounding page content or align it with the visual structure of a page.
The Pro edition includes shortcode support, so a configured slider can be used in locations where shortcode placement is appropriate. Within the block editor, you can continue adjusting slide content and settings from the right-side settings sidebar.
