Flexible quantity control for WooCommerce
Minimum and Maximum Quantity Plugin PRO helps WooCommerce stores control how many items customers can purchase and what cart conditions must be met before checkout. Rules can be created for individual products, variable products, product categories, users, carts, and specific periods. This gives store owners a structured way to manage purchasing limits without manually monitoring every order.
Product and category rules
Set minimum and maximum quantities for individual products or apply limits across product categories. The Pro edition also supports default and step quantities for all store products. For the quantity selector, you can choose a radio button, dropdown, or default input presentation.
Advanced product rules can use conditions such as total sales, price, stock, product age, attributes, and best-seller status. These options can help you apply different quantity requirements to products based on their catalog or sales context.
User, cart, and location conditions
Create user-specific quantity rules for individual customers or user roles. Cart rules can be based on shipping methods, shipping zones, and applied coupons. Rules may also use the customer’s country, allowing quantity requirements to differ according to location.
You can choose whether a rule should match Any condition or All conditions. This provides a way to combine several requirements within a rule rather than applying every condition in the same manner.
Checkout and order value controls
The plugin supports minimum and maximum order values, minimum and maximum order quantities, and limits on the number of items required to proceed with checkout. Global cart rules can display custom messages and block checkout when the required conditions are not met.
When conditions are not satisfied, you can hide the checkout button. Specific products can also be excluded from global checkout rules. These controls are useful for stores that need to prevent orders below a particular size, restrict unusually large purchases, or apply special purchasing requirements.
Time-sensitive rules and customer guidance
Time-sensitive rules can use specific start and end times for quantity restrictions. This allows quantity conditions to be defined for a particular period. Applied rules can be shown on individual product pages, with customizable headline text and position. Global rules can also be displayed on the cart page so customers can see the requirements before attempting checkout.
Validation messages can inform customers when a maximum quantity limit is reached, while custom messages explain global cart requirements. Together, these display options make purchasing conditions clearer during the shopping journey.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the plugin in your WooCommerce store, then create the quantity, product, user, cart, and time rules needed for your business. Configure selector preferences, messages, rule visibility, and checkout behavior before applying the settings to your products and customers.
