A more flexible LearnDash design
Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro improves the visual presentation of LearnDash so your courses can fit more naturally into an existing WordPress website. It provides a styling baseline that closely resembles your theme while giving you detailed controls through the WordPress Customizer.
The Pro edition is intended for site owners and developers who want to refine LearnDash without building every adjustment from custom CSS. It includes more than 110 customizable design options covering course content, profiles, Focus Mode, buttons, grids, alerts, tooltips, and integrations with selected LearnDash-related plugins.
Customizer-based controls
Use the Customizer to adjust the appearance of important learning interfaces from one place. Options include changing course content list backgrounds and text colors, hover effects, line separators, and list count visibility. Progress bars can be adjusted with custom colors, border radius, height, stripes, and an animation when the bar loads.
Buttons can receive custom background and text colors. The [ld_profile] area includes controls for avatar shape, a custom edit-profile link, profile information visibility, and quiz information visibility. Login and registration popups include more than 10 design options, while Focus Mode provides more than 20 options, including seven for Focus Mode comments.
Course, profile, and reporting interfaces
- Course Navigation Widget styling includes 15 design options.
- Course Grid Add-On styling includes 20 design options.
- Alerts include nine custom colors and additional options.
- Tooltips can use customized background and text colors.
- The Achievements Add-On includes 10 additional customization options.
- Tin Canny Reporting includes 12 design options for front-end reports.
- Uncanny Groups receives button, border-radius, and other frontend styling improvements.
You can also show or hide selected course and profile features, disable expand and collapse links, and display content expanded by default. These controls can help create a clearer course interface for students while reducing the need for repeated selector-based styling.
LearnDash template styling
The plugin detects whether the LearnDash 3.0 or Legacy template is in use and assigns styles accordingly. It also includes improvements for Focus Mode navigation, the sidebar tray, course sections, mobile menus, comments, registration pages, profile areas, course grids, pagination, assignments, and the User Status widget. Styles are designed so CSS in a child theme and WordPress Additional CSS can take precedence.
Design upgrades also cover WisdmLabs ratings, reviews, and feedback elements, as well as selected LearnDash group registration interfaces. Print styles and RTL language support are included among the broader design improvements described for LearnDash.
Installation and workflow
Install Design Upgrade for LearnDash Pro on your WordPress website, activate it, and open the Customizer to review the available Pro controls. Adjust the sections relevant to your courses, preview the changes, and publish the settings when the layout matches your site. The plugin is intended to provide a practical starting point for LearnDash styling without requiring custom code for each adjustment.
