Recover unfinished WooCommerce orders
Abandoned Cart Recovery for WooCommerce Pro is an extension for stores using WooCommerce. It identifies carts where a customer adds products but does not complete checkout, then helps you contact that customer with recovery messages. After a selected period without activity, a cart can be marked as abandoned and included in your follow-up workflow.
The plugin can capture cart details such as the add-to-cart date, customer email address, selected items, cart total, cart status, and IP address. This information is stored in the plugin’s abandoned-cart table, giving you a central place to review unfinished purchases and follow their progress.
Track members and guests
You can track abandoned carts belonging to logged-in users as well as guest visitors. Separate timing settings let you choose how long a member’s or guest’s cart should remain inactive before it is marked as abandoned. The records include details such as username, email, item quantity, cart total, item list, status, reminder logs, customer IP, and country.
Cart records can have an abandoned or recovered status. Reminder logs show the emails and Facebook messages sent to the cart owner. You can also exclude selected usernames from tracking when certain people should not be included in the recovery process.
Schedule recovery emails
Pro supports recovery emails for abandoned carts and abandoned orders. You can choose whether messages go to guests, logged-in users, or both. Create multiple email templates and schedule them at different times using email rules. This makes it possible to build a sequence of reminders rather than relying on a single message.
Templates can include a request to complete checkout and, when appropriate, an offer of a coupon. WooCommerce coupon options apply to generated coupons. You can also set a reply-to address and manually select abandoned carts and an email template when you want to send a reminder immediately.
Capture email addresses earlier
The Pro request email pop-up can appear when a customer clicks Add to cart for the first time. It asks for an email address before the add-to-cart action is completed. Once an address has been collected, it is automatically filled into the checkout form when the customer proceeds to checkout.
Choose whether the pop-up appears on single product pages, the shop page, or the cart page. You can make the email required, set how long the pop-up stays dismissed, and choose whether customers are redirected to the cart or checkout after adding a product. Two built-in templates, editable front-end text, and pop-up color settings are included.
Review performance and installation
Administrators can receive an email notification when an order is recovered. The plugin also provides three report types and selectable time ranges for reviewing abandoned-cart activity.
Installation
The extension works based on WooCommerce. Install and activate WooCommerce first, then install the Abandoned Cart Recovery plugin in WordPress. After activation, configure member and guest abandonment times, email templates, recovery rules, pop-up settings, and reporting preferences from the plugin’s administration area.
