AudioIgniter Pro for WordPress audio content
AudioIgniter Pro is the paid edition of AudioIgniter Music Player, built for publishing audio playlists in WordPress posts, pages, and custom post types. It can support music libraries, podcast episodes, radio shows, and other streamed audio content. Playlists can be created with WordPress media uploads, while the Pro features add more control over how tracks are organized, played, displayed, and measured.
The player supports unlimited playlists and unlimited tracks, with responsive layouts and compatibility with Elementor, Visual Composer, and the Gutenberg Block Editor. Audio and radio streaming services listed for the plugin include Acast, Amazon S3, Anchor, Art19, AudioBoom, Castbox, Captivate, Icecast, Podbean, Radiojar, Shoutcast, Speaker, Stitcher, and Libsyn.
Manage larger audio libraries
Bulk upload functionality helps reduce repetitive work when adding multiple audio files. Tracks can be rearranged after upload, and the plugin can extract ID3 tags automatically from MP3 files. Pro also includes an internal taxonomy for archiving purposes, making it possible to organize audio content for longer-term use.
For individual tracks, you can add lyrics, a custom “Buy track” URL, and a custom download URL. The download URL can be synchronized with the audio URL automatically. A standalone shortcode is available for displaying a single track without creating a playlist, while widgets and shortcodes provide additional placement options.
Control playback and presentation
AudioIgniter Pro includes track skipping with an adjustable number of seconds, playback rates of 1x, 1.5x, and 2x, shuffle mode, and an option to select the starting track. You can repeat an individual track, stop each track after it plays, or add a customizable delay between tracks. A default track timer can use countdown mode.
When multiple players appear on one page, the Pro edition can stop tracks from other players. A fixed-position player can provide continuous play when supported by the active theme. The player also remembers the last played track and position. Full and Simple player modes are available, with Simple mode suited to uses such as podcasts.
Playlist settings can control track listings, track numbers, track covers, active-track covers, artist names, listing height, repeat behavior, and maximum player width. Pro adds color customization through the Customizer and a Gutenberg custom block with the ability to change colors per player. Streaming service button links can also be displayed.
Analytics and practical uses
Per-playlist and per-track analytics can help you review how audio content performs. These tools are useful for music catalogs, podcast collections, radio programming, and sites that combine audio publishing with track purchase or download links.
