Animated text for Gutenberg layouts
Text Typing Pro extends the Text Typing plugin with a collection of animated text and heading blocks for WordPress. It is designed for hero sections, banners, call-to-action areas, landing pages, portfolios, and other layouts where an animated headline can help emphasize an important message.
The blocks are grouped under a single Text Typing category in the Gutenberg block inserter. Pro blocks can be previewed in the editor, while a license unlocks them on the front end. The free Text Typing block remains available for creating responsive typing animations with prefixes, rotating lines, suffixes, themes, typography controls, colors, layout settings, and responsive width options.
Pro animated text and heading blocks
- Animated Headline: create cinematic, scroll-triggered reveals with letter, word, or line stagger effects and an optional highlighted word.
- Split Text: reveal each letter or word one after another.
- Rotating Words: cycle a word through slide, flip, fade, or zoom animations.
- Scramble Text: display a decode-style reveal in which letters cycle through random glyphs before settling.
- Tracking-In Text: reveal headings through animated letter spacing and a soft fade.
- Number Counter: animate count-up numbers when they enter the viewport, suitable for stats and results.
- Gradient, Rainbow, Shine, Neon, and Glitch Text: apply prominent color and glow treatments.
- Outline, Long Shadow, Sticker, and Reflection Text: create distinctive display-heading styles.
- Text Mask: show an image or gradient clipped inside bold text.
- Curved, Circular, and Vertical Text: arrange text in alternative display formats.
Styling and responsive controls
Text Typing Pro provides custom colors and gradients for text, cursors, and backgrounds. You can add text shadows for depth or glow, adjust cursor style, size, and color, and place icons before or after typing text with size controls. Responsive settings help you fine-tune font size, alignment, and appearance for different devices.
Animations honor the visitor’s prefers-reduced-motion setting. The Pro edition also includes priority support for faster assistance and updates.
Practical workflow
Open a page or post in the WordPress block editor and use the Add Block button to search for Text Typing or browse its category. Add a Pro block, enter the desired text, and configure its animation and appearance from the block settings. Preview the layout across devices before publishing.
For typing content that you want to reuse, open Text Typing → ShortCode Generator in the WordPress admin. Create a saved typing text and place the generated shortcode, such as [text-typing id=”123″], wherever the saved content is needed.
Installation and setup
Install and activate Text Typing and the Text Typing Pro upgrade in WordPress. Open the Gutenberg editor, add the required Text Typing block, and configure the available settings in the sidebar. If the Pro blocks appear in the inserter but are not active on the front end, use the Pro license to unlock them.
