Manage affiliate links from one WordPress dashboard
Lasso is a paid edition for publishers who use affiliate links in reviews, comparisons, guides, and other WordPress content. It builds on a centralized link management workflow, allowing you to organize offer URLs instead of searching through individual posts whenever a destination changes.
With a managed link, you can use a shorter site URL such as /go/your-slug/ in your content. When the destination needs to be updated, changing it in the dashboard keeps the places using that link current. This is useful when merchants change offers, tracking URLs, or product destinations.
Present products inside your content
Lasso supports product displays for posts and pages. A display can include product information such as an image, title, price, badge, and buttons. You can insert displays while writing with the Lasso block or shortcode, making them suitable for product reviews, roundups, buying guides, and recommendation pages.
The paid edition adds richer display layouts for publishers who want more presentation options than a basic text link. Use these layouts alongside your managed links to create more structured product sections within relevant content.
Reporting and link monitoring
Each cloaked link stores a basic click count, helping you see which offers receive attention. Lasso extends this workflow with deeper reporting, so publishers can review link activity in more detail than basic click counts alone.
Link monitoring adds another layer to ongoing affiliate link maintenance. Instead of treating links as static text inside posts, you can use Lasso as a central place to keep track of the links used throughout your site. This is especially practical for sites with many reviews, merchant relationships, or older articles that need regular attention.
Organize and migrate an existing library
Groups help sort links by niche, merchant, or campaign. If you already use another link plugin, the workflow can begin with an import rather than rebuilding every entry manually. Supported import sources include Pretty Links, ThirstyAffiliates, Easy Affiliate Links, AAWP, EasyAzon, AmaLinks Pro, Earnist, and Affiliate URLs.
Lasso also works with both the Block Editor and Classic Editor. Optional Amazon product details can help fill product information on displays when Amazon credentials are connected.
Practical workflow
- Add an offer URL to the link dashboard.
- Choose a recognizable slug and organize the link in a group.
- Insert the managed link, block, or shortcode into a post.
- Use a richer display layout when the content calls for a product presentation.
- Review reporting and monitor links as offers and articles change.
Installation and setup
Install and activate Lasso in WordPress, then add your affiliate links through the dashboard. Import an existing library if needed, create groups, and insert links or displays into posts and pages. Connect Amazon credentials only when you want to use optional Amazon product details.
