Build with WordPress’s native editor
Spectra Blocks Pro is an AI-assisted website-building experience for the WordPress Block Editor. It helps turn an idea, prompt, or existing page into an editable starting point made from Spectra blocks. Instead of working in a separate builder or proprietary layout system, you create and refine content inside the editor that WordPress already provides.
AI features are provided through Zip AI, a separate free plugin connected from the Spectra Blocks dashboard. A ZipWP account and AI credits are required for AI requests, including for Spectra Blocks Pro users. AI requests are processed by the ZipWP service.
AI-assisted page and content creation
Describe the page you want and generate a complete first draft using native Spectra blocks. You can also generate individual sections when you need a focused starting point for a hero area, pricing section, FAQ, testimonials, or another part of a page. Existing content can be rewritten or improved in place, while an existing HTML page can be converted into native Spectra blocks.
Generated layouts remain editable afterward. You can review the structure, change the content, and make the final decisions about every section and line of copy rather than being locked into an AI-only interface.
Flexible blocks and design controls
Spectra Blocks uses a focused set of flexible blocks together with Extensions that add advanced controls to WordPress core blocks. The Container block provides a foundation for custom layouts, allowing you to nest core WordPress blocks, Spectra blocks, or blocks from third-party plugins.

- Extensions for spacing, borders, shadows, and responsive controls.
- Accordion, Tabs, Slider, List, Icon, Separator, and Google Map blocks.

Content is stored as standard block markup, with no shortcodes or separate page format. This keeps layouts organized and lets you continue editing them through the native Block Editor.
Practical ways to use it
Use Spectra Blocks when creating landing pages, product pages, shop pages, service pages, or complete site sections. It is compatible with WooCommerce and works with standards-compliant WordPress themes. You can use it for client websites, build custom layouts with nested blocks, or improve an existing page without changing its URL.
The plugin loads the CSS needed by a given page. Actual performance depends on your hosting, theme, and overall setup. Spectra Blocks is separate from Spectra Legacy, which continues to support existing Legacy blocks when that plugin remains active.
Installation and setup
Install and activate Spectra Blocks in WordPress, then open the Spectra Blocks dashboard to access its blocks, Extensions, and Design Library. To use AI features, install and connect the separate Zip AI plugin from the AI area in the dashboard, sign in or create a ZipWP account, and use available AI credits. After generation, edit the result normally in the Block Editor.
The core plugin, blocks, and Extensions are described as free and do not require an account; AI use requires the separate Zip AI connection, a ZipWP account, and credits.
