Create cinematic scroll experiences
Scrollsequence Pro and Business are paid plans for Scrollsequence, a WordPress plugin that turns image sequences into animations controlled by the mouse wheel or touch. They are designed for websites that need a more engaging way to present visual content on a homepage, post, or page.
Instead of presenting a static design, you can build a sequence of images and let visitors move through it as they scroll. This approach is useful for product presentations, visual storytelling, campaign pages, portfolios, and other layouts where motion can help communicate an idea.
Plan capabilities
Pro plan
The Pro plan adds advanced content animation controls. Create fade-in, fade-out, move, and scale animations that respond to scrolling. You can also work with unlimited scenes and images, add a smooth scroll delay, and control how many images are loaded before the animation appears.
Content added to Scrollsequence is indexable, and the plan includes priority support. The animation editor also works with HTML content, allowing written elements to be animated in sync with the media.
Business plan
The Business plan includes cloud media tools for preparing visual sequences. Its Video to Image Converter can convert source video into a sequence of images. The AI Frame Former can increase the number of frames from a video through the cloud service, helping create smoother animation. You can also import still images from a video directly into the WordPress Media Gallery with one click.
Build and place sequences
Scrollsequence includes a WYSIWYG editor, shortcode support, and oEmbed capability. Scenes, images, and animations can be reordered with HTML drag and drop. The media gallery allows images to be uploaded and selected from the WordPress backend, while image preloading fetches images in the background.
Use custom CSS, set image opacity and background colors, adjust scroll speed, and choose a fallback for visitors who have JavaScript disabled. Options are also available to hide or display the footer and sidebar. To place a sequence in a post or page, use the native WordPress shortcode format [scrollsequence id=”####”].
Responsive editor compatibility
Scrollsequence provides mobile and desktop sizing and alignment options. It can be used with Gutenberg, Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, Beaver Builder, and many other page-building environments. For theme integration, themes that preserve normal scrolling are recommended; custom scrollbars or AJAX transitions may affect integration.
Installation and workflow
Install and activate the Scrollsequence plugin in WordPress, then create a sequence in the editor. Upload or select your images, arrange scenes, set the animation and loading options, and save the sequence. Add its shortcode to the required post or page. Business users can prepare source material with the cloud media tools before importing or using the resulting images.
During loading, the first images are fetched and the animation is displayed after a minimum number has finished loading. Remaining images continue loading in the background. Review the sequence on desktop and mobile, then adjust sizing, alignment, speed, opacity, or custom CSS as needed.
