Move Shopify Store Data to WooCommerce
S2W – Import Shopify to WooCommerce Pro helps transfer Shopify store data into a WooCommerce store. The plugin uses Shopify API credentials to connect directly to the source store, with the migration process organized through the WordPress and WooCommerce environment.
The paid edition includes the features available in the free version and adds tools for broader migrations, selective imports, scheduled product updates, and additional store data. It is suitable for moving a Shopify catalog into WooCommerce or keeping selected product information updated after the initial import.
Product Import and Control
Import unlimited products, product variations, current stock, prices, categories, product images, galleries, and variation images. Imported products can be assigned a publish, pending, or draft status. You can also choose the product import sequence by title, created date, or updated date.
Pro provides several ways to control what enters WooCommerce. Import products by Shopify product ID, or use filters based on product type, collection ID, published-before date, and published-after date. Product data can also include metafields such as SEO titles and SEO descriptions, along with barcode, vendor, and product type information.
Images used inside product descriptions can be migrated, with their sources replaced correctly after transfer. Product updates can include images, title, inventory, description, price, SKU, attributes, and slug, allowing the WooCommerce catalog to reflect later changes from Shopify.
Automated Updates and Data Sources
Webhooks
Use webhooks to automatically import or update new products, orders, and customers. This can support workflows where changes in the Shopify store need to be reflected in WooCommerce without relying only on manual imports.
Scheduled product updates
The cron update product feature lets you schedule automatic updates for product prices or quantities. This is useful when stock or pricing needs to be refreshed on a recurring basis.
CSV imports
If you do not use the Shopify API for product migration, Pro includes product import from CSV. This provides an alternative route for bringing product information into WooCommerce.
Additional Store Data
- Orders: Import payment and shipping details, customer information, totals, taxes, discounts, addresses, currency, dates, line items, discount codes, order numbers, and related order data.
- Store settings: Migrate shipping zones, shipping methods, and taxes, including tax names, rates, locations, and shipping settings.
- Pages and blogs: Transfer page titles and content, plus blog titles, content, categories, tags, and featured images.
- Coupons: Import supported coupon types, amounts, usage limits, expiry dates, minimum amounts, and related settings.
- Customers: Import customer names, phone numbers, company details, and address information.
Migration logs let you review the import process and check how a transfer progressed. Product requests can also be adjusted to help avoid bad request errors, with the number of products processed per AJAX request configurable from the plugin settings.
Installation and First Import
Install and activate WooCommerce and the S2W plugin in WordPress. Obtain the Shopify API key and password, enter the credentials in the plugin settings, and select the data or products to migrate. Configure product status, import sequence, filters, and image options before starting the transfer. Review the migration logs after completion, then configure webhooks or scheduled product updates if ongoing synchronization is required.
