Rearrange Products for WooCommerce Pro helps store owners decide which products appear first across the shop and category displays. It builds on drag-and-drop product ordering with tools for managing larger catalogs, preparing promotional layouts, and maintaining different arrangements for different selling situations.
The plugin requires WooCommerce to be installed and activated. It can be used without coding knowledge and supports product ordering on the main Shop page, as well as custom arrangements for categories and sub-categories. You can also select multiple products and move them together, including when product displays are used through WooCommerce shortcodes.

Smart Sort
Smart Sort lets you reorder an entire catalog or a specific category in one action instead of moving products individually. Choose from several sorting methods, including:
- Best selling products
- Most rated products
- Price from low to high or high to low
- In-stock products first
- Latest or oldest products
- Products on sale
- Shuffle for a randomized display
These options can help you place top sellers, reviewed products, available items, new arrivals, sale products, or other selected groups in a preferred position.
Sort Presets
Save an existing arrangement as a named preset with a description, then apply it with a single click when you want to change the display. Presets can be duplicated to create variations, and you can search or filter them for quicker access. The feature works with both global and category-specific arrangements, making it useful for seasonal layouts, holiday promotions, flash sales, and comparing different product orders.
Import and export arrangements
Pro can export global, category-specific, or preset arrangements as JSON files. You can import arrangements on another site, with products matched by SKU for cross-site compatibility. This supports moving product orders to a new domain or staging environment and sharing arrangements with a team. Import reports show matched, skipped, and total products, and files up to 10MB are supported.
Practical store workflows
Use manual ordering when you want a carefully selected merchandising sequence. Use Smart Sort when a complete catalog or category needs a quick rule-based arrangement. Save a layout before a seasonal campaign, apply a different preset during a promotion, and return to another saved arrangement afterward. Exporting provides a way to transfer those arrangements between supported site environments.
Installation and setup
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install and activate Rearrange Products for WooCommerce Pro.
- Open the plugin’s product-ordering controls and arrange products manually, use Smart Sort, or create a preset.
- Apply the arrangement to the shop or relevant category and review the resulting display.
If custom ordering does not appear on the Shop page, set WooCommerce Product Catalogue’s Default Product Sorting to Default sorting (custom ordering + name). Page builders may use their own product-query settings. For large catalogs that do not save changes, server limits such as memory_limit and max_execution_time may need attention from your hosting provider.
Deactivating the plugin turns off saved rearrangements until it is reactivated. Deleting or uninstalling it permanently removes the product rearrangements.
