Targeted labels for WooCommerce products
Advanced Product Labels for WooCommerce Premium helps store owners create and display custom labels on products. Labels can be assigned according to product information and shop conditions, making it possible to highlight promotions, shipping messages, stock situations, popular items, or other product-specific details.
The paid edition builds on label creation with a broader set of templates, content options, styling controls, and conditions. Multiple labels can be used on one product, allowing a product page or catalog listing to communicate more than one relevant message at a time.
Conditions for product labels
Premium labels can be assigned using conditions such as product name, product category, sale status, stock status, bestseller position, price, and total sales count. Additional paid conditions include product age, stock quantity, sale price, specific attribute values, and Schedule.
Schedule controls when a label is shown between optional From and To values. This is useful for time-limited promotions or planned campaigns. The Schedule condition was previously called Date Time; existing Date Time rules continue to work without being re-saved.
Templates and label design
The plugin includes 30 CSS templates, 12 advanced templates, and 14 image templates. A label size multiplier can scale complex label designs. Image-based labels can use a custom image, and discount-type labels can show a custom image and time left for the offer.
Design controls include custom background and text colors, opacity, gradients, shadows, borders, font size, font family, dimensions, padding, margin, line height, and z-index. Labels can be placed in the title area, positioned more precisely, or rotated from -90 degrees to 90 degrees. These settings support both compact product badges and more prominent promotional treatments.
Custom content and shopper information
Label content can use custom text or a discount percentage type. The Advanced Content addon supports links in labels, while shortcodes can be used in label content. Tooltips can contain an image, giving shoppers additional information without placing all supporting content directly in the label.
Discount timers help communicate remaining time for a promotion. Labels can also be assigned individually to products, which is useful when a message does not fit a general category, price, stock, or sale rule.
Practical store workflows
Use the condition system to create focused product messages rather than applying the same label everywhere. For example, a store can use sale price or sale status for discount messaging, stock quantity for inventory notices, product age for newer items, or attribute values for a specific product variation group. A scheduled rule can then control when a campaign label appears.
The plugin has been tested for compatibility with Advanced AJAX Product Filters, Load More Products for WooCommerce, Brands for WooCommerce, Grid/List View for WooCommerce, and Min and Max Quantity for WooCommerce. Compatibility with every WordPress theme is not stated; themes developed according to WordPress and WooCommerce guidelines are described as generally compatible.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then configure label rules, templates, content, and styling from its settings. The full-featured plugin can also be tried through the available admin-side demo, where settings can be configured and results checked. If an issue occurs, preliminary troubleshooting includes testing with a WordPress default theme, deactivating other plugins, and checking the relevant WordPress, WooCommerce, theme, and plugin versions.
