YML product feeds for WooCommerce
YML for Yandex Market Pro creates a YML feed from a WooCommerce store. The feed is intended for uploading product information to Yandex Market and can also be used with a range of other marketplaces, delivery services, shopping platforms, and business portals.
WooCommerce is required. The plugin is designed for stores that need to prepare product data in YML format for external services rather than manually recreating catalog information for each destination.
Supported destinations
In addition to Yandex Market, the source lists support for the following services and platforms:
- СберМегаМаркет
- Yandex Turbo-pages
- Yandex delivery
- GOODS.ru
- boo.ua
- 2gis.com
- AliExpress.com
- Маркетплейс Маркета, formerly BERU
- Портал поставщиков Москвы
- Точка банк
- ВКонтакте, or vk.com
- Flowwow
- Youla
The source also identifies partial support for CDEK, OZON, ВКонтакте, eBay, and Flowwow. Availability and requirements can differ between destinations, so the generated feed should be checked against the relevant service requirements before submission.
Automatic feed creation
Feed generation is configured from the WordPress administration area under Yandex Market and Settings. In the Automatic file creation box, select a menu entry other than “off.” Other values can be adjusted if necessary, followed by saving the settings.
After the settings are saved, the feed is generated. The source states that this normally takes between one and seven minutes, depending on the number of products. When generation is complete, a link to the feed appears in place of the setup message.
Product data workflow
YML for Yandex Market Pro provides a way to prepare WooCommerce product data for external catalog and marketplace workflows. A store administrator can configure the automatic file creation setting, allow the feed to be generated, and then use the resulting link where the selected destination requires a YML product feed.
For accurate submissions, review the format and method requirements of the destination. The source specifically recommends reading Yandex Market’s requirements for a better understanding of YML feeds, as well as the relevant instructions for connecting a store to Yandex Market.
Installation and initial setup
First, make sure the WordPress website uses WooCommerce, since WooCommerce is the required online store platform. Add YML for Yandex Market Pro to the site, open its settings, and configure the automatic file creation option. Select a mode other than “off,” adjust other available values when needed, and save.
Once the feed link appears, review the generated product data and follow the connection or upload instructions of the selected marketplace or service. The plugin is focused on creating the feed; destination-specific registration and connection steps remain part of the relevant platform’s process.
