Product Catalog Feed Pro for WooCommerce
Product Catalog Feed Pro creates auto-updated product feeds from WooCommerce for use with Facebook Product Catalogs, Dynamic Product Ads, Facebook Shops, Instagram, Google Merchant, and Pinterest Catalogs. Each feed receives its own URL, so you can add it to a product catalog without downloading and uploading a file manually.
The plugin is designed for stores that need product information to remain aligned with catalog requirements and advertising workflows. You can create XML feeds with out-of-the-box mapping, adjust field values for your particular needs, and retrieve a feed URL from the feed list. Feeds can also be downloaded in XML or CSV format when a local copy is useful.
Core feed workflow
Create a feed by opening the plugin and selecting the option to add a new feed. Give it a name, review the mapping settings, and generate the feed. After generation, open the feed list and select the view option to open the XML feed in a new window and copy its URL.
The feed has an auto-refresh interval to help keep catalog data updated. This is useful when product availability changes, since stores can avoid continuing to send out-of-stock products in their advertising feeds when the relevant filtering options are configured.
Pro product controls
The Pro edition adds controls for deciding which products enter each feed and how product data is represented.
- Filter products by category, product type, sale status, stock status, or tags.
- Remove variations from a feed when a variation-level listing is not required.
- Set the price rule for the main ID of a variable product using the smaller price, bigger price, or first variation price.
- Define a brand for products without a brand or apply a global brand value.
- Define a product condition when the condition is missing or apply a global condition value.
These controls support different catalog arrangements, including feeds focused on selected categories, sale items, stocked products, or particular product types such as simple, variable, grouped, and affiliate products.
Mapping and catalog preparation
You can map fields and change default values according to your requirements. The plugin can use a variation description when one is present and replace capital letters in product titles. Brand and condition values can also be supplied when needed, with condition identified in the source as required for feed acceptance.
For Facebook Product Catalogs, copy the generated feed URL into the catalog’s product feed setup. The source workflow also describes selecting a currency, reviewing upload messages, checking products in the catalog, and associating the catalog with the pixel used on the site before creating a Dynamic Ads template.
Installation and first feed
After installing the plugin in the WooCommerce site, open Product Catalog Feed, choose Add new feed, and name the feed. Check the mapping settings, select Generate the Feed, then open the generated feed from the feed list and copy its URL. Configure the desired Pro filters, mapping adjustments, brand, condition, and variation rules before adding the URL to the relevant catalog.
