Create flexible image galleries
Lightbox Slider Pro is a WordPress gallery plugin for presenting images in responsive galleries and lightbox previews. It supports unlimited images and multiple galleries, making it suitable for portfolios, image collections, product visuals, and other site content that benefits from an organized image display.
Galleries can be published on WordPress pages or posts with a shortcode. Each gallery has its own shortcode and unique settings, helping you manage several collections with different presentation choices.
Layouts, animation, and display effects
The Pro edition expands the gallery presentation options with five gallery design layouts and eight animation effects. Its integration with Isotope and Masonry effects helps arrange image sizes within the gallery, while responsive behavior adapts the display to different screen resolutions.
- Create unlimited image galleries and add unlimited images.
- Choose from five gallery design layouts.
- Use eight animation effects.
- Apply unlimited color schemes with opacity effects.
- Use categorized gallery display.
- Arrange images with drag-and-drop positioning.
- Use Isotope and Masonry effects with the gallery.
Lightbox choices and gallery styling
Lightbox Slider Pro includes eight integrated lightbox types: Nivo Box, Photo Box, Pretty Photo, Window Box, Smooth Box, Swipe Box, Ion Box, and Fancy Box. These options let you select a lightbox presentation that suits the visual style of each gallery.
You can choose from unlimited Font Awesome icon options and customize the font icon size. The gallery can open the lightbox when a visitor clicks an image or an icon. Gallery titles and image labels can also be shown or hidden according to your settings.
The plugin includes 520 Google Font styles and supports unlimited color choices for gallery elements. Hover colors and text colors are available as part of the gallery styling controls. Each gallery can therefore be configured independently rather than relying on one presentation for the entire site.
Administration and publishing workflow
Use the gallery administration dashboard to create and manage collections. Multiple image uploading supports adding images to a gallery, and drag-and-drop positioning helps arrange their order. An Add Shortcode button can be used on a post or page when publishing a selected gallery.
Import and export settings are available for gallery management. The plugin also includes a delete-all option and multilingual translation readiness. Retina readiness and responsive lightbox behavior are included for displays across major device types such as iPhone, iPad, tablets, and PCs.
Practical uses
Build separate galleries for portfolio projects, photography collections, visual catalogs, event images, or other groups of media. Categorized display helps organize multiple collections, while unique gallery settings let each group use its own layout, animation, fonts, icons, and lightbox style.
Installation and setup
Install the Lightbox Slider Pro plugin through the WordPress administration area and activate it. Open the gallery dashboard, create a gallery, upload images, and arrange their position. Select a layout, animation, colors, fonts, icons, and lightbox type, then save the gallery.
Copy or insert the gallery shortcode into a WordPress page or post using the available Add Shortcode button. Preview the result on different screen sizes and adjust the gallery’s unique settings as needed.
