Address autocomplete without rebuilding forms
Autocomplete Google Address Pro adds real-time Google address suggestions to existing WordPress forms. It is designed for WooCommerce checkout, contact, registration, booking, and custom forms, while keeping the form design and existing CSS in place. The Pro edition supports WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro Forms, Fluent Forms, Ninja Forms, Formidable Forms, and HTML forms with standard inputs.
Set up fields visually
The Visual Selector Tool provides point-and-click field mapping without requiring CSS knowledge, developer tools, or code. Select Pick, open a preview of your site, choose the form field, and select from available ID, name, class, or placeholder selectors. The tool can also work with data attributes and complex DOM paths. Multiple configurations can be created for different forms, and saved configurations can be duplicated or transferred with JSON import and export.
A setup wizard guides the initial configuration. Enter the Google API key, select the form plugin, and use the generated configuration or map fields manually. Form plugin presets are available for supported builders, while custom forms can use visual mapping or CSS selectors.
Improve address entry
- Address suggestions: provide a Google Places search dropdown as visitors type.
- Smart Mapping: fill separate street, city, state, ZIP, and country fields from one address.
- Map Picker: let users click or drag a pin on an interactive map to choose an address.
- Address Validation: display green, yellow, or red verification badges using the Google Address Validation API.
- GPS Geolocation: offer a “Use My Location” button with IP fallback.
- Country controls: restrict results to up to five countries and use country-aware mapping for more than 30 countries.
- PO Box detection: warn about PO Box, APO, and FPO addresses.
- Saved addresses: allow logged-in users to select from recent addresses.
WooCommerce and advanced Pro tools
For WooCommerce, Pro automatically detects the checkout page and supports both Classic Checkout and Block Checkout. It adds autocomplete to billing and shipping address fields without requiring checkout field configuration. Per-page activation, per-form language overrides, RTL support, dark mode, ARIA accessibility, custom dropdown styling, and an Elementor widget provide additional control.
Additional Pro capabilities include address verification webhooks for Slack, Zapier, or another URL, checkout abandonment tracking in Analytics, usage analytics for searches and selections, REST API endpoints for headless storefronts, a shortcode, health checks, and conflict detection for other Google Maps scripts. The plugin uses the Google Places API (New), debounced search, session tokens, and reverse geocoding for draggable map pins.
Installation and workflow
Install and activate the plugin, open the setup wizard, enter the Google API key, and choose WooCommerce or a supported form plugin. For other forms, create a configuration and use the Visual Selector Tool to map fields. Choose Single Line or Smart Mapping mode, then activate the configuration globally or on selected pages.
