A flexible audio player for WordPress
Audio Player Block Pro gives musicians, podcasters, course creators, and bloggers more ways to present audio in WordPress posts and pages. It builds on an audio player that supports single files and playlists, with track titles, artist names, cover images, and visual styling controls. Configuration is handled in the Gutenberg editor, so you can prepare the player while editing the content where it will appear.
The block is suitable for a standalone recording or a collection of tracks. Add multiple audio files to create a playlist, or select a single file for a simpler presentation. Smart play and pause control allows one track to play at a time and automatically pauses other tracks, helping prevent overlapping audio when several players or playlist items are available.
Pro playback features
The Pro version adds five customizable themes with different looks and settings. It also expands how visitors can move through and listen to a playlist. Auto Play can start the next song when the current one ends, while Loop Mode repeats the current track after it finishes. Previous and next navigation provides direct movement through the playlist.

Detailed visual controls
Audio Player Block Pro includes deeper controls for refining the player’s appearance. You can adjust the thumbnail border and radius, seek bar height and radius, thumb width, outline, and shadow. Additional settings cover the controls border and hover border, time display radius, artist opacity, waveform colors, and playlist border and radius.
The underlying player also supports width and height adjustments, colors, backgrounds, hover effects, track details, cover images, and audio uploads. These settings make it possible to present an album, episode collection, lesson series, or article narration in a style that suits the surrounding page.
Practical publishing options
Musicians and bands can use playlists to share albums and singles with cover art. Podcasters can embed episodes directly in posts and pages. Course creators can add audio lessons or narration to learning content, while bloggers can provide audio versions of articles for readers who prefer listening.
Shortcode integration lets you display the same audio player outside the block’s immediate editor location. This provides another way to place a configured player across your website where shortcode content is supported.
Installation and use
Install and activate the Audio Player Block plugin, then open a post or page in the Gutenberg editor. From the Widgets block category, add Audio Player Block. Upload your audio files and cover image, enter the title and artist information for each track, and arrange the playlist as needed.
Use the settings sidebar to choose a theme, configure playback behavior, and refine the player’s dimensions and visual details. When the player is ready, publish the post or page. You can also use the shortcode option to place the player in another supported location.
