Manage currencies at product level
Currency per Product for WooCommerce Pro is designed for stores that sell products priced in different currencies. Instead of applying one currency across the entire catalog, you can assign a currency to individual products and present pricing according to your catalog structure. This is useful for products sourced from different countries, international suppliers, or region-specific pricing arrangements.
The plugin supports all WooCommerce product types and gives you control over how prices appear in the shop, cart, and checkout. Depending on your preferred customer experience, prices can remain in their assigned currencies or be converted to the store’s default currency.
Pro currency management
The Pro edition supports an unlimited number of currencies. You can configure currencies for individual products and apply optional currency settings based on product authors, author user roles, categories, and tags. These controls help organize larger catalogs where currency rules may depend on how products are managed or grouped.
Automatic currency exchange-rate updates are available in Pro, with options to customize the update rate and the currency exchange-rates server. This provides an alternative to entering every exchange rate manually and gives administrators more control over how conversions are maintained.
Control the customer shopping experience
Shop behavior settings let you choose whether customers see prices in different currencies or see prices converted to the shop’s default currency. You can also add the original, unconverted price to shop pages for additional pricing context.
Cart and checkout behavior can be configured separately. Available approaches include converting prices to the shop default currency, keeping the product currency while allowing only one product in the cart, allowing products only when they use the same currency, or converting the cart to the currency of the first or last product added.
Pro also includes frontend currency switching and customer location-based currency detection. These options can help stores present a more convenient currency experience for shoppers while retaining control over product-level currency assignments.
Reporting and price filtering
Sales can be tracked by currency, helping you review revenue across the different currencies used in your catalog. The plugin can also add currency selection to the currency area in WooCommerce admin reports.
Converted prices can be used with WooCommerce’s Sort by price option and the Filter Products by Price widget. Customers can therefore browse and compare products using converted values where that behavior is enabled.
