AliExpress dropshipping tools for WooCommerce
ALD – Dropshipping and Fulfillment for AliExpress and WooCommerce Pro helps shop owners import AliExpress products into WooCommerce stores and manage the fulfillment workflow. The Pro edition includes the features of the free version and adds tools for product presentation, shipping selection, order processing, product migration, and marketplace use.
The plugin works with WooCommerce and supports importing from a single AliExpress product page or from a category page. It can also connect with multiple WooCommerce stores through the companion extension and WooCommerce REST API authentication method.
Product importing and catalog preparation
- Product video import: Import product video and display it in a separate tab on the single product page, or use a shortcode in the product description or short description.
- Product migration: Move products from another AliExpress dropshipping plugin for use with ALD.
- Variation splitting: Split products with large numbers of variations into smaller products for easier management.
- Attribute mapping: Modify AliExpress attributes into more suitable terms while importing products.
- Product rules: Configure general settings for imported products, including status, catalog visibility, descriptions, images, and attribute handling.
Product status can be set to Publish, Pending, or Draft. Attributes can be imported as global or custom attributes, and product images can be selected during the import process. These controls provide a way to prepare imported items before they are displayed in the WooCommerce store.
Shipping and order fulfillment
Frontend shipping lets customers select a shipping company based on their country, similar to shopping on AliExpress, instead of importing one fixed shipping cost with the product. Shipping companies can be masked to hide that the store operates as a dropshipping business.
Pro provides a separate page for managing AliExpress orders. Orders can be fulfilled individually through the Chrome extension or in bulk. The extension can also be used to fulfill multiple orders rapidly. Auto fulfill is available to automatically fulfill AliExpress orders when someone makes a purchase.
The plugin can distinguish AliExpress orders from initial store orders in WooCommerce. It is compatible with Orders Tracking for WooCommerce for managing tracking data and with Product Variations Swatches for WooCommerce for presenting product variations in a customer-friendly way.
Marketplace compatibility
The premium version is compatible with the Dokan plugin. Vendors can import AliExpress products and use their own Import list, Imported, and settings pages within the vendor dashboard. This supports a marketplace workflow where individual vendors manage their imported products through their marketplace area.
Store-wide setup
ALD supports importing products to multiple WooCommerce stores through the extension connection. Before authenticating a store, temporarily disable Coming Soon, Under Construction, or Maintenance Mode settings so the extension can establish its connection. Your site needs an SSL certificate to connect with the Chrome extension, and the permalink structure must not be set to Plain.
Installation
Install WooCommerce and the ALD plugin, then install the WooCommerce AliExpress Dropshipping Extension from the Chrome Web Store or manually. Connect the store using WooCommerce REST API authentication, ensuring the SSL and permalink requirements are met. After connection, import products from a product or category page, configure your import rules, and manage imported items and AliExpress orders from WooCommerce and the plugin’s order settings.
