Flexible content grids for WordPress
WP Ultimate Post Grid Premium helps you present posts, pages, and custom post types in responsive grids. It is designed for websites that need an organized, visual way to display content while giving visitors practical ways to browse and narrow the results.
You can build grids with a live preview and choose how each item should connect to your content. Grid items can link to the actual post or featured image, while custom links and custom images provide additional control over how entries are presented. Responsive layouts are intended to work across different device sizes.
Advanced filtering and content selection
The Premium edition adds more ways to control which content appears and how visitors filter it. Limit a grid by taxonomy, author, date, or post ID when a general content query is not enough. You can also order a grid by a custom field for more specific presentation requirements.
Visitors can interact with filters in several ways. Premium supports plain text filters, dropdown filters for any taxonomy, and checkbox filters for any taxonomy. Multiselect can be enabled in filters, and the post count for filter terms can be shown to help visitors understand the available content.
In addition to post-based displays, you can create a grid of categories or tags. Grids can also be dynamically filtered in the shortcode, allowing the content query to be adjusted where the grid is placed.
Pagination and browsing controls
For larger collections, Premium provides several ways to manage how additional items are loaded. Add a Load More button, use load-on-filter pagination, or choose infinite scroll pagination. These options help you present more content without requiring every item to appear at once.
Deeplinking can take visitors directly to a filtered grid, which is useful when sharing a particular filtered view. Each grid and its filters can be added anywhere with its own shortcode. The plugin also works with both the Classic Editor and Gutenberg Block Editor.
Templates and practical workflows
Multiple templates are available for grids, and the extensive Template Editor lets you create the layout you want. Easily clone grids when you need a related display with different content rules or filters. The plugin is also fully integrated with WP Recipe Maker for creating a recipe grid.
Typical uses include an author archive, a filtered resource library, a category or tag directory, a recipe collection, or a visual listing of custom post types. A content manager can first select the source, shape the template, define ordering, add filters, and then place the finished grid with a shortcode or block.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the Premium plugin in your WordPress site. Build a grid using the live preview, select the content source, choose a template, and configure ordering, filters, and pagination. Add the completed grid where needed with its shortcode or through the Gutenberg Block Editor. For filtered views, configure the relevant taxonomy, custom field, author, date, or ID rules before publishing.
