Build flexible magazine layouts
WP Magazine Modules Premium is a WordPress plugin for creating different styles of magazine, news-portal, and blogging layouts. It is designed to help you assemble a responsive homepage and content-focused page sections without coding. The plugin works with the Gutenberg Editor and is compatible with Elementor Page Builder, providing a drag-and-drop approach to building layouts.
Its modules support a wide range of editorial presentations, from compact post tiles and grids to sliders, timelines, banners, and category collections. You can use multiple blocks and select from multiple variations to shape a homepage around the type of content your site publishes.
Modules for editorial content
The plugin provides more than 20 total block layouts, including two layouts for each of the following module types:

- Post Tiles
- Grid
- List
- Post Filter
- Post Carousel
- Category Collection
A block columns option helps arrange content within a section. Multiple categories can also be selected for a single block, allowing posts from different categories to appear together. This is useful for magazine homepages that bring several editorial topics into one organized layout.
Control what each block displays
Post elements can include the title, thumbnail, date, category, tags, content or excerpt, post format, and author. Query controls let you order posts in ascending or descending order according to post date or title. Display controls provide show or hide options for metadata, content, thumbnails, titles, post margins, metadata icons, and buttons.
Dynamic category color options and general color settings make it possible to adjust the appearance of individual content areas. You can set font color, button background color, border color, and link hover color. Flexible color options are also available for post titles, metadata, content, and buttons.
Typography and configuration
Custom typography can be added for individual post elements in more than 10 blocks. Typography controls cover block titles, post titles, content, metadata, and buttons. You can turn default plugin typography inheritance on or off, and multiple Google Fonts are available with variations in font weight.
Settings are arranged into dedicated tabs for basic settings, query settings, extra settings, fallback images, layout settings, color settings, and typography settings. This organization keeps content selection, visual styling, and display preferences separate while you configure each block.
Practical setup
Install the plugin on a WordPress site, then create or edit a page using Gutenberg or Elementor. Add the required magazine modules, select categories and ordering, choose the post elements to display, and adjust layout, color, and typography settings. Use the responsive layouts to build a magazine or news homepage that can be managed through the WordPress editing interface.
