Branded link management for WordPress
PrettyLinks Pro helps you turn long destination URLs into short, branded links on your own domain. It is designed for affiliate marketers, bloggers, podcasters, social media users, and other publishers who want memorable links, flexible destinations, and useful click information in one WordPress-based workflow.
When a destination changes, you can update the link once rather than replacing every published URL. Click and unique-click tracking records information such as referrer, IP, browser, operating system, and host data. Customizable reports can be filtered by date range, link, and total or unique clicks.
Automation and advanced redirects
The paid editions add automation, advanced redirect options, and deeper reporting for larger or more active link libraries. In addition to 301, 302, and 307 redirects, you can use cloaked, JavaScript, meta-refresh, tracking pixel, and branded splash page redirects.
Keyword and URL replacements can map keywords to branded links across your site content. PrettyLinks Pro can also create a link automatically when you publish a post or page. Categories and tags help organize and filter a growing collection of links.
Targeting and testing
Send visitors to different destinations according to country, device, browser, operating system, day, or hour. Link rotation and A/B split testing can distribute traffic across multiple destinations by weight or round-robin, helping you compare link destinations within your existing campaigns.
Expiring links can use an expiry date or click limit, with a selected destination for traffic after expiration. Scheduled link health scans can flag broken destinations, while email digests help you identify links that need attention.
Paid editions and additional tools
PrettyLinks Pro, Marketer, and Executive are presented as paid editions. Pro includes six add-ons: Link in Bio, Developer Tools, Product Displays, Splash Pages, UTMs, and User Links. Link in Bio and Developer Tools are available on Marketer and above; the remaining listed add-ons are available on Executive.
Each link can have a downloadable QR code, with an optional inner logo. Pretty Bar can frame third-party destinations with your WordPress theme. The modern React-based administration area includes bulk actions, one-click duplication, auto-saving options, and quick link copying from the links list, editor, or a Gutenberg block.
Practical workflow
Create a branded slug, choose a destination and redirect type, then add targeting, rotation, expiration, or tracking options as needed. Use reports to review activity, update destinations centrally, and organize links with categories or tags. CSV tools support bulk link importing and click-history export.
Installation
Install and activate PrettyLinks in WordPress, then use the in-plugin onboarding wizard to begin creating links. The plugin operates primarily in the WordPress administration area, while its front-end elements are theme-agnostic. Back up your site before a major upgrade.
