Manage authorship clearly in WordPress
Molongui Authorship Pro is designed for WordPress sites that need to present authors and contributors accurately. It supports registered users, guest authors, and multiple co-authors, helping publishers, magazines, company blogs, interview sites, and collaborative content teams show the right people on each post or page.
The plugin combines author profiles, customizable author boxes, bylines, author lists, and author post listings in one workflow. It also includes tools for displaying author information in different parts of a site and for importing existing authorship data from Co-Authors Plus, PublishPress Authors, and One User Avatar.
Present detailed author profiles
Use the author box to display bios, avatars, social links, and related posts. Pro supports additional premium layouts, multiple presentation styles, live preview styling, responsive design, and a custom CSS panel. Author boxes can use boxed, minimalist, tabbed, or inline layouts, with customizable headings such as “About the Author” or “Meet the Expert.”
Dynamic bios support rich text, media, HTML tags, and third-party shortcodes. More than 30 additional niche social icons are available alongside the wider social icon selection. The author box can be placed automatically before or after content, shown on posts and pages, or inserted using a shortcode when a theme does not provide the desired byline position.
Credit guests and co-authors
Guest Authors lets you attribute content without creating WordPress user accounts. Create profiles with bios, avatars, social links, job titles, affiliations, and custom links, then select a guest from the post editor. Guest authors can appear in linked bylines and author boxes alongside registered users.
Pro adds guest author archive pages, one-click user-to-guest conversion, bulk editing and cloning, REST API support, import and export tools, and Schema.org markup for multi-author content. For collaborative posts, co-author lists can be displayed through shortcodes. Byline modifiers can add prefixes such as “By” or suffixes such as “et al.”
Organize author-focused navigation
Create author lists with four layouts and a user role filter. Display lists of posts by author using five layouts with pagination, and allow visitors to search content by author name. You can also disable author pages for registered WordPress users and retrieve author information through shortcodes for use with page builders.
Pro supports custom post types and provides conditional display logic based on user roles, tags, and other conditions. Schema markup supports author attribution and Google rich snippets, while AMP and RTL support extend the presentation options.
Installation and setup
Install and activate Molongui Authorship Pro in WordPress, then configure the author box and authorship settings. Choose layouts, display locations, headings, social links, and conditional rules. Add guest profiles where needed, assign co-authors in the editor, and use shortcodes for selected bylines or author information. The plugin is described as compatible with any theme, Elementor, Divi, and other page builders; theme-specific display issues can be reviewed through support.
