Flexible post layouts for the block editor
Latest Posts Block Premium is designed for building attractive post sections in WordPress without requiring coding knowledge or a third-party page builder. It provides Gutenberg blocks for presenting recent content in grid, list, full, express, and tile formats. Each layout type includes multiple pre-designed looks, giving you practical starting points for blogs, magazine pages, news sections, and other content-focused layouts.
The Premium version includes 30+ posts box layouts, allowing you to choose a presentation that suits the page rather than assembling every element from scratch. You can use the available designs for a dedicated latest-posts area, a category-focused section, or a more structured content display within a page.
Control which posts appear
Use the posts query controls to define the content shown in each block. The available settings include category selection, the number of posts, and ordering based on date or name. These options help you create targeted sections, such as a selected category list or a recently published content grid.
Premium also provides multiple category display designs and expanded controls for the post content itself. You can select image sizes, show or hide titles, categories, excerpts, and other meta items, and adjust excerpt length when excerpts are enabled. Custom read-more link controls help you set the wording and presentation of the link used with each post.
Design and presentation settings
Typography and color controls support a consistent appearance across your site. The plugin includes access to more than 800 Google font families, with font weight and subset controls. Text sizes can be adjusted for desktop, tablet, and mobile views, helping you refine the block for different device sizes.
For post box details, Premium includes Font Awesome 5 icons for content such as the author, date, and comment count. You can also work with box shadows, borders, border radius, and the available content gaps and spacing controls. These settings make it possible to shape the visual hierarchy of a post section while keeping the layout aligned with the rest of the page.
Practical ways to use it
- Present recent posts in a multi-column grid on a homepage.
- Build a compact list for a sidebar or secondary content area.
- Show category-based posts with selected ordering and post counts.
- Use tile or express designs for a more visual content section.
- Adjust typography, colors, icons, and spacing for different screen sizes.
