Create More Slider Experiences in Gutenberg
GutSlider Pro is the paid edition of GutSlider, an all-in-one slider and carousel plugin for the WordPress block editor. It adds premium slider styles, carousel layouts, and WooCommerce-focused blocks to the native Gutenberg editing experience. You can build these layouts directly on pages, posts, templates, template parts, and reusable patterns without shortcodes, a page builder, or custom code.
Content is arranged visually in the editor. Add images, text, buttons, headings, video, products, or other blocks, then adjust the available settings from the sidebar and preview the result while editing. Responsive controls provide separate Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile values for many settings, including spacing, columns, and typography.
Premium Blocks and Layouts
The Pro edition adds a broad selection of slider and carousel blocks for different presentation styles. Available premium options include Shader Slider, Shutters Slider, Slicer Slider, Fashion Slider, Triple Slider, Card Slider, Hover Slider, Tinder Slider, and Spring Carousel.
You can also use Panorama Carousel, 3D Carousel, Material Carousel, and Marquee Carousel when a distinctive visual treatment or continuous scrolling presentation suits the content. These options are useful for hero sections, featured content, visual collections, and other layouts where a standard slider is not the right fit.
Product and Content Presentation
For WooCommerce stores, GutSlider Pro includes a WooCommerce Product Carousel and a WooCommerce Product Categories Carousel. These blocks provide a way to present products or product categories in carousel layouts within the block editor.
The plugin also includes thumbnail gallery navigation for the Static and Blog Post sliders. This lets visitors use thumbnail-based navigation alongside those slide types. The wider GutSlider block set supports image sliders, flexible block content, blog post sliders, video carousels, testimonials, logos, before-and-after comparisons, and marquees, giving you several ways to organize visual and editorial content.
Controls for Responsive Designs
GutSlider provides controls for autoplay, looping, speed, effects, centered mode, free mode, and column counts. Navigation and pagination can be customized with settings for styles, positions, sizes, colors, gaps, and remote navigation. CSS entrance animations can be applied per element with adjustable delays.
Image-focused layouts can use lightbox support through the Photo Carousel block. Typography controls are available for text elements, including Google Fonts and other typography settings. If Google Fonts are selected, the related stylesheet and font files are requested on pages where the block appears; system and theme fonts do not make that request.
Editor Workflow and Site Delivery
Blocks use native Gutenberg components, so configuration takes place in the familiar WordPress editor. GutSlider loads scripts and styles only on pages where a slider block is used, creates one minified CSS file per page, and does not use jQuery. Sliding is powered by Swiper JS, and the plugin is translation ready and RTL friendly. A dashboard option lets you disable blocks that you do not use.
Installation and Setup
Install the GutSlider Pro edition alongside the WordPress block editor, then open the page, post, template, template part, or pattern where the slider should appear. Insert a GutSlider block, add or select the content, and configure its layout and responsive settings in the sidebar.
For a WooCommerce display, choose the appropriate product or product-category carousel and adjust its presentation. For Static or Blog Post sliders, add thumbnail gallery navigation when a thumbnail-based browsing experience is needed. Preview the layout across device settings before publishing.
