Manage WordPress data from the frontend
Frontend Admin Pro is the paid edition of Frontend Admin by DynamiApps. It is built for creating frontend admin forms so clients and other users can edit content without accessing the WordPress dashboard. Forms can be created with the form builder and displayed with a Gutenberg block or shortcode.
The plugin works with posts, pages, users, terms, ACF fields, and other data. Its frontend workflow can support adding and editing content, managing user information, and saving custom meta data through forms. The free capabilities include editing and publishing posts, adding new posts, trashing posts, editing user profiles, and providing user registration forms.
Extend forms with Pro features
The Pro edition adds the ability to edit global options. If global data such as header and footer content is stored in an ACF options page, users can edit that data from the frontend.
Submission controls let you limit how many times all users or specific users can submit a form. This can help structure workflows where repeated submissions need to be restricted.
Pro also provides configurable email actions. You can send emails upon form submission and map form data to email fields, including the email address, from address, subject, and message. The source states that any number of emails can be sent upon form submission through the form settings.
Design and organize the form experience
Use the Style tab with Elementor to style the form and its buttons. Multi-step forms divide a longer process into multiple stages, making the form flow more engaging for users.
Forms can also be displayed in a modal window that opens when a button is clicked. This keeps the form from occupying space on the page until a visitor chooses to open it. Permissions can be configured by user role or specific users, and the plugin can hide the WordPress admin area from selected users.
Accept payments and add products
Frontend Admin Pro supports payments through Stripe or PayPal upon form submission. It also includes WooCommerce integration for adding WooCommerce products from the frontend.
The plugin has built-in integrations with WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, SureCart, Advanced Custom Fields, and Pods. It works with WordPress page builders including Elementor, Bricks Builder, Spectra Website Builder, Divi Builder, Beaver Builder, Thrive Architect, Gutenberg, and Oxygen Builder.
Practical form workflows
Create a frontend post submission form, a client editing area, a user profile form, or a registration flow. Add taxonomy fields when users need to set post categories; the source specifically identifies Category as an available taxonomy type. Use the Gutenberg block or shortcode to place the completed form where users need it.
Installation
Install Frontend Admin in WordPress, then create a form with the form builder. Configure its fields, permissions, display method, and Pro options before placing it with a Gutenberg block or shortcode. For email workflows, configure the email settings within the form after adding the required fields.
