These tools can support searchable product catalogues, product comparison tables, and pricing lists. The free product-table functionality includes manual product assignment, column sorting, and loader selection with loader icon colour customization; the Pro edition adds the advanced product-table controls described above.
AI-assisted table management
Data Tables Generator connects with AI assistants that support the MCP standard, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Cursor. The free AI functionality can read and analyse WordPress tables through chat or voice. You can ask questions about values, request calculations, or receive summaries without exporting data or manually scanning the table.
The Pro AI Add-On is a separate paid module and requires the Pro version of Data Tables Generator. It extends the AI workflow from analysis to table creation and management. Describe an action in your connected AI assistant and the add-on can create tables, edit existing tables, apply formulas, change formatting, and import or export data. Examples include creating a three-tier pricing table, adding a discount column, calculating totals, or exporting a table as Excel.

Installation and setup
Install Data Tables Generator Pro in WordPress and create tables through its table-building workflow. If using the AI features, connect an AI assistant that supports MCP. To create, edit, or manage tables with AI, install the separate Pro AI Add-On alongside the Pro plugin. When WooCommerce is active, select the WooCommerce Product Table option in the Table Creation Wizard.
