Sell flexible gift cards in WooCommerce
YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards Premium gives your store a way to sell virtual and physical gift cards through WooCommerce. Customers can purchase a gift card, choose its value, personalize its appearance, enter recipient details, add a message, and complete the order like any other product.
Gift cards can support occasions such as birthdays, holidays, weddings, and employee bonuses. They can also introduce new customers to your products, since recipients can redeem their gift cards in your store and return later while a balance remains available.
Personalized delivery options
Customers can select an image from the available gallery or upload and drag a custom image or photo into the gift card modal window. Premium also allows customers to enter a custom amount, with an optional minimum value, and specify more than one recipient for the same gift card.
For scheduled campaigns or personal occasions, customers can choose a delivery date and time. The gift card can be sent automatically to the recipient’s email address, while the sender can receive an email when delivery takes place and another notification when the recipient uses the gift card for a purchase.
You can attach a PDF to the gift card email and customize the PDF name. An optional QR code can also be enabled for gift cards. Gift card codes use a configurable format, and the recipient receives the code by email after the related order reaches processing or complete status.
Administration and bulk management
- Generate and send multiple gift cards with a bulk action.
- Import and export gift cards using a CSV file.
- Set an expiration date for a specific date or a period after purchase.
- Manage stock for each gift card product.
- Update gift card balances from the backend without creating a new order.
- Review gift cards, balances, and related orders in an administration table.
Customers can apply a gift card from the Cart and Checkout pages or use the standard coupon code field instead. You can choose the position of the gift card form. A gift card can cover part of an order when its balance is lower than the total, and the remaining balance can be used for future purchases. You can also configure a gift card for a single-use purchase, after which it cannot be used for other purchases.
Integrations
Premium supports integration with YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor, allowing gift card codes to apply only to products from vendors assigned by the global administrator. It can also work with WC Smart Coupons to convert Store Credit or Gift Certificate coupons into new gift cards. Additional integrations include YITH Multi Currency Switcher for WooCommerce and YITH Booking and Appointment for WooCommerce.
Installation and first setup
Install YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards, create your first gift card, configure its amounts or other available options, and publish it. Then review the delivery, redemption, form, and notification settings before offering the gift card product to customers.
