Present WooCommerce variations visually
YITH Color and Label Variations for WooCommerce Premium replaces the default WooCommerce select fields with color swatches, custom images, and labels. It is designed for products with options such as colors, sizes, patterns, fabrics, stone shapes, or other selectable attributes.
Instead of asking shoppers to choose an option from a text-only drop-down, you can present the available choices in a more visual format on the product page. This makes the relationship between a product and its variations easier to understand, particularly when appearance is important to the purchase decision.
Premium controls for product options
- Create color, image, and label attributes for variable products.
- Set the size and border radius of color swatches on product pages.
- Customize the border color of available options.
- Create bicolor swatches to represent two-color samples.
- Override the global attribute style for specific products.
- Add text tooltips or tooltips with preview images for each attribute.
- Choose whether to display an attribute description on the product page.
These controls allow a store to use different visual treatments for different product types. A clothing shop can show fabric or color choices, while a jewelry shop can present sizes, stone shapes, or necklace options using labels, images, or swatches.
Extend variation presentation beyond the product page
The Premium version can show attributes on the shop, category, and other pages, not only on individual product pages. You can also choose whether available attributes appear in the Additional information tab on a product page.
For more product-focused browsing, the plugin can show variations as separate products on the Shop page. This gives each variation its own place in the catalog presentation. When a shopper selects a variation, you can customize the text of the Add to cart button.
Images and variation galleries
Premium supports a different image gallery for each product variation. This is useful when the appearance of a product changes significantly between options. You can show imagery that corresponds to the selected color, style, or other variation rather than relying on one general product gallery.
The plugin can also replace the product image when a visitor hovers over an attribute. Combined with image-based attributes, preview tooltips, and variation-specific galleries, this gives shoppers several ways to inspect product options before adding an item to the cart.
Store workflow and installation
Install the plugin on a WooCommerce store, create or edit the product attributes and variations, and configure how those options should appear. Set the global styling first, then apply product-specific overrides where needed. Add swatches, images, labels, descriptions, tooltips, and variation galleries according to each catalog’s requirements.
The plugin is available in English, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch, and documentation is available to guide configuration. Premium also includes the features listed above for shop-page display, product presentation, and variation management. A 30-day money-back guarantee is stated as available on the publisher’s plugins.
