WP101 Personal is a paid plan for the WP101 Video Tutorial Plugin, designed to help you teach clients the essentials of WordPress without repeating the same explanations for every site. It places a library of professionally produced tutorial videos directly inside a client’s WordPress administration panel, giving users a practical resource they can consult while managing their website.
The video library includes WordPress 101 tutorials for both the Gutenberg and Classic Editor experiences. It also includes tutorials for popular WordPress plugins, such as WooCommerce, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Ninja Forms, and WPForms. Plugin-specific tutorials appear when the relevant plugin is installed and activated on the same site, helping keep the available list focused on the tools that apply to that installation.
Choose the content clients see
WP101 Personal lets you control which tutorial topics are displayed. Through the WP101 Plugin app, you can selectively show or hide individual videos, or manage entire courses. This makes it possible to provide a more focused learning path instead of presenting every available topic at once.
For sites that need guidance beyond the built-in library, you can also add your own custom videos. These videos appear at the bottom of the tutorial list, so you can supplement the general WordPress lessons with instructions specific to your workflow, site structure, or client handover process.

Set up WP101 Personal
To use the plugin, obtain an API key through WP101Plugin.com and enter it in the WP101 Plugin settings. The API key connects the plugin with the tutorial video library. If the Classic Editor plugin is installed and activated, the earlier Classic Editor videos for WordPress 4.9 and older can also appear in the list, with visibility controlled through the settings.
An API key can also be defined in the site’s wp-config.php file by using the WP101_API_KEY constant. After the key is configured, review the available courses and videos, hide any content that is not needed, and add custom videos where appropriate.
