Flexible countdowns for WordPress campaigns
WordPress Countdown Premium extends the Countdown Timer – Widget Countdown plugin with additional designs, scheduling options, animations, and display formats. It lets you create countdowns for posts, pages, and widgets, with integrations for WooCommerce and Elementor. Timers can support events, product launches, promotions, and special offers without requiring coding skills.
The premium edition includes 40 premium themes: 10 Standard, 10 Vertical, 10 Circle, and 10 Flip themes. These options make it possible to select a visual style that fits the page or campaign. Timers are responsive, and inline display can fit elements on one row with responsive auto-scaling.
Schedules, counts, and expiry behavior
Premium supports count-up timers, evergreen countdowns, and evergreen count-up timers. Countdown repetition can be configured to restart after ending, or to repeat every specified number of hours, daily, weekly, or monthly. Evergreen settings include duration, expiry mode, restart behavior, and daily expiry time. Repeat settings include intervals, day-of-week, day-of-month, and stop conditions.
When a timer expires, you can choose from several actions. Premium supports redirecting to a URL, showing a button, hiding page content, or showing hidden content. You can also choose which countdown fields appear instead of being limited to Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds.
Design and animation controls
- Theme variety: use Standard, Vertical, Circle, or Flip premium themes.
- Element display: select the timer fields to show and display elements inline.
- Animation: apply an animation to each element or to the group, using effects such as fadeIn, bounceIn, flipIn, and rotateIn, plus more than 25 additional effects.
- Vertical timers: use full settings with slide-digit animation.
- Circle timers: use full settings with SVG ring animation.
- Flip Clock timers: use full settings with 3D flap animation.
Popup and sticky displays
For campaigns that need a more prominent presentation, Premium includes popup timers with settings for size, position, fixed or absolute placement, background, border, and animation. It also includes Sticky Bar timers, giving you another way to keep a countdown visible within the page layout.
Where to use the plugin
Create and embed timers in posts, pages, and widgets. The plugin works with WooCommerce and Elementor, and the wider plugin supports Gutenberg blocks, Legacy Gutenberg, and the Classic Editor. The timers are designed for desktops, tablets, and mobile screens, while colors, fonts, sizes, and positioning can be customized to match a website’s design.
