Advanced recipe publishing for WordPress
Recipe Card Blocks PRO is a paid edition for food bloggers who want to publish structured, practical recipe content in WordPress. It works with the block editor and Elementor, while the wider plugin supports AMP and recipe-focused components such as ingredients, directions, nutrition facts, and recipe cards.
The paid features extend recipe discovery, reader interaction, submissions, presentation, and blog management. This makes the PRO edition useful for individual food blogs, growing recipe libraries, and sites that want to organize recipes into searchable collections.
Organize recipes and improve discovery
The Recipe Index Block creates a searchable recipe catalog, helping visitors browse a larger collection without relying only on individual posts. Recipe Roundups let you curate themed recipe collections, such as seasonal menus, baking selections, or recipes built around a particular ingredient.
Ratings Analytics provides information about rating distribution, activity over time, and top-rated recipes. These insights can help you understand how readers respond to published recipes and identify content that attracts stronger engagement.
Make recipes easier to follow
Adjustable Servings lets readers scale ingredient quantities in real time. Unit Conversion allows them to switch between US and metric measurements with one click. Together, these tools make recipes more adaptable for different households and audiences.
Readers can also leave a written review alongside their rating through the Rating Modal and Written Reviews feature. For recipe authors, the Equipment Block provides a dedicated way to list tools needed for a dish, while the Image Gallery and Lightbox in Directions can support visual step-by-step guidance.
Support participation and promotion
Recipe Submissions enables sites to accept user-submitted recipes. WooCommerce Integration connects recipe content with the WooCommerce platform, and the Grow.me Save Recipe Button adds another way for visitors to save recipes.
Social calls to action can direct readers toward Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Advanced Pinterest Settings provide control over the custom Pin image and description. Food Labels can add additional recipe presentation details, while Print Preview includes customizable credit text for printed copies.
Design controls
Recipe Card Blocks PRO includes five recipe card styles, compared with three in the free version. Four color schemes and unlimited custom colors provide additional control over the visual presentation of recipe cards. These options can help keep recipe layouts aligned with the visual style of a food blog.
The plugin also provides Schema.org structured data in JSON-LD, an inline structured data validator, and support for Gutenberg, Elementor, AMP, WPML, recipe shortcodes, and any theme. The source also identifies the plugin as GDPR-compliant and states that it does not integrate Google Fonts or collect information outside the WordPress installation.
Installation and setup
Install Recipe Card Blocks PRO in WordPress and open the block editor or Elementor. Add a recipe card and populate its details, ingredients, directions, nutrition information, and optional equipment or media. Use the PRO settings to configure styles, colors, indexes, roundups, reviews, submissions, serving controls, and measurement conversion.
If the recipe blocks are not visible, check whether the new block editor has been disabled with the Classic Editor plugin, since the blocks work only with the new editor.
