Build temporary and pre-launch pages with Gutenberg
UCSM Pro is a WordPress plugin for creating coming soon pages, maintenance pages, under-construction pages, redirect pages, and landing pages. It uses the native Gutenberg Block Builder, so layouts can be edited inside the WordPress editor without an additional page builder plugin. The Pro edition includes more than 29 Gutenberg templates, with one-click import and block-by-block editing.
Templates provide a starting point for a launch announcement, maintenance notice, site-in-progress message, or lead-focused landing page. After importing a design, you can adjust text, backgrounds, colors, fonts, and layouts directly in the block editor. The templates are native Gutenberg layouts, allowing the imported page to be customized rather than used as a fixed design.
Flexible site modes
Use Coming Soon mode while preparing a new website and use Maintenance mode while updates are underway. Under Construction mode is intended for sites still being built. The plugin also provides Redirect Mode for sending pages to another URL. Activation can apply to a specific page or across the site.
Role-based access controls let you decide who can view the coming soon or maintenance page. This can be useful when administrators, collaborators, or selected users need to access the site while other visitors see the temporary page. Custom logo options support either a text-based or graphic logo, and social media icons can be added for progress updates or launch announcements.
Countdowns, forms, and presentation controls
Add a countdown timer to show when a site is expected to launch or return after maintenance. A countdown action can be configured to launch the site or reveal news when the timer reaches zero. Newsletter functionality supports collecting visitor email addresses and customizing the newsletter experience.
Pro also provides styling controls for fonts, colors, backgrounds, and layouts. Pages are designed to be responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. SEO settings include meta titles, meta descriptions, and meta keywords, while Google Analytics can be connected using G-Tag. The plugin supports translation and WordPress multisite, and it is designed to work with any WordPress theme.
Administration and Pro plan features
The dashboard uses a React-based interface and AJAX-based settings updates. A template library is available inside the WordPress dashboard, where designs can be browsed and imported. The Pro plan includes regular updates, new templates, priority email support, and access to current and future plugin features. It can be installed on unlimited sites and follows a pay-as-you-use model, with a 10% discount on renewal stated for the plan.
