Interactive code presentation for WordPress
Advance Custom HTML Pro is designed for publishing code snippets that readers can view, copy, and watch run live inside WordPress posts, pages, or widgets. It combines a clean code editor with syntax highlighting and a rendered preview, making technical content easier to follow than a plain code dump.
The Pro edition adds extended customization and control over code presentation and layout. Use it for tutorials, developer documentation, technical articles, educational material, and interactive demonstrations where the code and its result need to appear together.
Write and preview code together
Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and other supported code snippets in the editor. The live output preview shows the result instantly, while autocomplete suggestions assist during code entry. A draggable preview panel lets you move the output area to a convenient position on screen.
- Edit code while viewing the rendered result.
- Use syntax highlighting for clearer code presentation.
- Adjust the editor font size to suit your content.
- Present responsive code blocks and preview panels across devices.
- Use the lightweight editor for code-focused WordPress content.
Pro controls for presentation and layout
Choose from more than 40 editor themes, including dark, light, and minimal styles. Pro controls also let you adjust tab size, line wrapping, and editor height or width. You can select the syntax mode for each snippet, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python.
Presentation details can be tailored for each use case. Enable or disable the copy button, fold gutter, active-line highlighting, line numbers, and wrapping. The Copy to Clipboard button can use customized text, an icon, style, and position. You can also hide headings or labels when a simpler appearance is preferred.
- Set the code editor or snippet height and width.
- Align the editor left, center, or right.
- Collapse code blocks with fold gutter support.
- Highlight the active line to help readers follow tutorials.
- Show or hide line numbers according to the presentation style.
Practical uses
Create HTML and CSS lessons with live results, embed JavaScript demonstrations with interactive output, or display PHP examples in courses and articles. Python syntax can support data science blogs, while customizable code blocks can organize API guides, reference pages, and other developer documentation.
