Centralize shipment tracking in WooCommerce
Trakoo Pro is an order-tracking extension for WooCommerce. It helps store owners add, edit, import, and export tracking numbers and tracking URLs for order items, then share shipment information with customers and connected services. The plugin is designed for managing an order’s delivery journey from the WooCommerce administration area while giving customers ways to follow their shipments.
Trakoo works based on WooCommerce. It supports more than 80 common shipping carriers and allows you to add custom carriers when a required service is not included. You can enable or disable carriers, select a carrier when entering a tracking number, and have the plugin generate a tracking URL automatically.
Pro tools for managing tracking
- Manage tracking by order: When an order uses one tracking number at a time, save the tracking number and carrier to order post meta for use with other integrations.
- Edit tracking in the order list: Update tracking numbers for different orders from one screen.
- Track per item quantity: Assign a tracking number to each purchased quantity when the same item has different shipments.
- Bulk tracking entry: Add tracking numbers in bulk for orders containing multiple items.
- REST API: Set and retrieve tracking numbers for integration with an ERP service.
- Manage user roles: Grant shop managers access to selected plugin settings.
Customer messages and order emails
You can send a tracking email when a tracking number is added to an order and edit the email subject, heading, and content. Available shortcodes can display the customer name, order ID, and shipping information. The email can include tracking for all order items rather than only the item that changed.
Tracking information can also be included in WooCommerce order emails when an order changes status. The position of the tracking information can be customized, and custom order statuses created by other plugins are supported. In emails, carrier display names can be used instead of their real names, which can be useful for dropshipping workflows.
PayPal and external connections
Trakoo Pro supports the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin as well as additional PayPal plugins and post meta keys for integrations with tools such as email designers and SMS plugins. Shipping information, including carrier names and tracking numbers, can be added to PayPal transactions.
Webhooks can automatically update tracking data and send emails when shipment statuses change. You can schedule synchronization for tracking data from existing orders. The plugin can also change an order status automatically when all tracking numbers for that order reach a delivered shipment status.
Tracking access and order details
Customers can view tracking numbers in the order list and order details on the My Account page. Tracking can be searched using email, order ID, tracking number, or combinations of these inputs. Default tracking information can be added when a new order is placed, helping avoid an unavailable-tracking message before shipment details are entered.
Using Trakoo Pro
Install Trakoo Pro on a WordPress site using WooCommerce, then configure the carriers, tracking fields, email settings, PayPal connections, and user access options. Add tracking information to orders individually, by item quantity, or in bulk. Use the order list, customer account area, emails, REST API, or webhooks according to your store’s workflow.
