Create and manage QR Codes in WordPress
Qyrr Pro extends Qyrr’s QR Code creation tools for WordPress with more sources, dynamic destinations, bulk generation, and usage tracking. It is designed for creating QR Codes directly in WordPress without relying on third-party APIs. Use the editor to create codes for website content, campaigns, printed materials, events, products, and other practical applications.
The editor supports QR Codes for posts and pages, external URLs, and additional Pro sources such as text, WhatsApp messages, SMS messages, email messages, phone numbers, and vCards. Qyrr Pro also supports custom post types, including products in WooCommerce, so QR Codes can be connected with more types of WordPress content.
Use dynamic QR Codes
With Qyrr Pro, you can create dynamic QR Codes whose target can be changed without changing the QR Code itself. This is useful when a printed code needs to remain in use while the destination changes over time. The target information can be updated in WordPress, and the code can continue to be used without re-printing it.
Dynamic QR Codes also provide usage tracking within WordPress. Each time a dynamic QR Code is scanned, its usage value is increased. This gives you a way to review code usage without external tools. Static QR Codes remain suitable when the source should not be modified, while dynamic codes are intended for destinations that may need updates and individual usage tracking.
Generate codes in bulk
The bulk generator lets you create a basic QR Code as a template and generate many individual codes from it. Qyrr Pro supports CSV-based importing, allowing you to copy and paste a list of URLs that can be used to create the individual QR Codes. A dynamic ID solution is also available when multiple codes point to the same page or URL but need to be tracked individually.
Customize the design
Qyrr includes tools for adjusting the appearance and readability of each QR Code. Configure the size, background color, fill color, minimum readable version, quiet zone, rounded corners, and error handling level. You can also place your own logo inside the code, or use custom text instead.
Logo and text elements can be resized and repositioned. When using text, Google Fonts can help match the QR Code with the design of your website. Pro also adds SVG downloads alongside PNG downloads, giving you an additional format for using generated QR Codes.
Embed and organize QR Codes
Embed codes with the custom block or the integrated shortcode. The block workflow lets you select the code directly, while the editor handles the required code details. Campaigns help organize related QR Codes, such as codes created for an event. Assign codes to a campaign and filter the QR Code list by that campaign when you need to review a specific group.
Installation and workflow
Install Qyrr Pro as a WordPress plugin, open the QR Code editor, choose a source, and customize the code. Select a static or dynamic workflow where appropriate, save the QR Code, and embed it with the custom block or shortcode. For larger sets, prepare the URL list for CSV-based importing and use a template for bulk generation.
