License management for Envato products
License For Envato Pro is a WordPress license-server plugin for developers selling themes or plugins through the Envato market. It validates Envato purchase codes through the Envato API and records per-domain activation information in the WordPress database. Customers can activate or deactivate their copy from the settings page of your theme or plugin without relying on a third-party service.
The Pro edition builds on the core server, client integration, and license administration workflow with tools for selling, updating, monitoring, and controlling licenses across multiple products and domains.

How the workflow fits together
Install the plugin on your WordPress site and connect an Envato personal token. The server then provides the licensing foundation for your products. For client-side integration, copy the provided PHP class into a theme’s functions.php file or into a dedicated plugin file. Set LICENCE_CALL_URL to your WordPress site URL and define a unique PREFIX for each product. Using a separate prefix helps keep option keys distinct in the WordPress database when you manage multiple products.
The included integration uses REST API endpoints for license activation and deactivation. On your product settings page, instantiate licenseCodeVerifyForm(); to display the activation and deactivation form for customers. The available endpoints are /wp-json/licenseenvato/v1/active and /wp-json/licenseenvato/v1/deactive.
Administration and security
From the WordPress admin panel, you can search and manage verified licenses. The activation flow uses token-based handling with AES-256-CBC encrypted storage. The plugin is described as lightweight and has no external runtime dependencies. Pro adds practical controls for reviewing activity, limiting use by domain, managing expiry, and connecting license events to other systems.
