Publish Instagram content on WordPress
Intagrate Pro connects Instagram professional accounts with WordPress and automatically turns Instagram media into WordPress content. When you publish a new photo, the plugin can create a WordPress post using the Instagram caption as the title and the image in the content. This provides a practical way to republish visual content on your site without manually embedding each image.
As of December 2024, Instagram API changes mean that only professional Instagram accounts can be connected. This includes Creator and Business accounts.
Images, videos, and media handling
Intagrate Pro can publish Instagram images and videos to your WordPress site. Images and videos can be saved to the WordPress Media Library, helping you keep the imported media within your site. You can also set an imported Instagram image as the featured image for its WordPress post.
Instagram videos can be displayed with a responsive HTML5 video player. The plugin also supports Instagram posts containing multiple images and videos, allowing this type of Instagram content to be brought into WordPress.
Control what gets published
A dedicated moderation page gives you control over which images are posted. Hashtag filtering can be used to include media with selected hashtags, filter by multiple hashtags, or exclude images containing certain hashtags. This is useful when one Instagram account contains content for different site sections or publishing purposes.
You can connect multiple Instagram accounts and use the same or different posting configuration for each account. The Pro edition also provides access to your complete Instagram media history, giving you more content to work with when connecting an account.
Flexible WordPress publishing
Choose whether imported media should become posts, pages, or custom post types. You can select the WordPress category, format, and author for published content. Instagram hashtags can also be converted into WordPress tags or another custom taxonomy.
Titles and content can be built with templates. Add custom text and use tags such as %%title%% and %%image%% to place Instagram information in the generated content. Intagrate Pro adds more template tags and lets you restrict the length of the caption used for a title.
