Flexible product browsing for WooCommerce
Grid/List View for WooCommerce Premium adds flexible display controls to a WooCommerce shop. Customers can switch between the standard grid presentation and a vertical list view with additional product information. The plugin also provides a product count switcher, giving shoppers a way to change how many products appear per page from the front end.
The Premium edition is designed for stores that want more control over the appearance and placement of catalog navigation controls. It combines grid and list switching with settings for button presentation, product count links, list layouts, and custom CSS.
Premium display and styling features
- Switch between grid and list product views.
- Customize product count switch links.
- Use advanced list styling for products.
- Customize simple product list styles.
- Customize advanced product list styles.
- Add custom CSS styles.
Grid view uses the default WooCommerce product presentation, while list view displays products vertically with additional information. Simple and advanced list styling options provide different levels of control over the list presentation. In the advanced style area, list elements can be selected on the right side of the page for editing, and presets are available for the advanced list view.
Control the shopper-facing buttons
The settings area includes separate controls for the list/grid view buttons and product count buttons. You can set a custom class for either type of control. Using a custom class removes the plugin’s styling, allowing your own styling approach to be used.
For the list/grid switcher, settings include display location, left- or right-side positioning, padding, and predefined button presets. For product count controls, you can enable the buttons, define the available product count values, add a separator value, and set custom text before the links. Their display location and left- or right-side position can also be configured.
Practical store use cases
A grid view can present a familiar product catalog for shoppers browsing visual collections. A list view can provide a more information-focused arrangement when product details need to be visible alongside the product presentation. Product count controls can help shoppers choose a page size that suits their browsing process.
The plugin has been tested with Advanced AJAX Product Filters, Advanced Product Labels for WooCommerce, Load More Products for WooCommerce, Product Preview for WooCommerce, and Wishlist and Waitlist for WooCommerce.
Installation and setup
Install the Premium plugin on a WordPress website with WooCommerce available. After installation, open WooCommerce > List/Grid View in the administration area. Configure the switcher buttons, product count settings, list style, CSS styles, and any available custom JavaScript according to the presentation you want for the shop.
Review the front-end result after saving your settings, then adjust the button positions, spacing, product count links, or list elements as needed.
