Bring Facebook content into WordPress
FaceBook Feed Pro displays Facebook profile, page, and group content on WordPress websites. It is designed for site owners who want to show posts, images, videos, albums, events, and other feed content within pages and posts, while presenting the feed in a responsive and customizable layout.
The plugin can display a Facebook feed and Like Box, including a page header, page title, Like button, Share button, live stream, and fan faces. Feed content updates automatically when the Facebook content is updated. This gives visitors a way to view selected social content without leaving the website.
Flexible feeds and publishing tools
FaceBook Feed Pro supports feeds from Facebook profiles, pages, and groups. You can add as many feeds as you want to pages and posts using feed shortcodes. The plugin also includes widgets, allowing feed content to be placed in widget areas as well as in page or post content.
- Display Facebook profile, page, and group feeds.
- Show posts, photos, albums, videos, and events.
- Use feed shortcodes in pages and posts.
- Place feeds through widget options.
- Choose the number of Facebook posts to display.
- Use individual widget and shortcode settings.
The Social LikeBox & Feed shortcode can publish a Facebook Page Like Box, while the Facebook feed shortcode can publish a Facebook Page Feed. These options provide different ways to place social content according to the structure of your WordPress website.
Layouts and visual controls
The PRO edition includes more than nine lightbox layouts for displaying galleries in popup windows. It also provides hover CSS effects, animation, and loading effects. These tools can be used to create a more visual presentation for photo and media content.
Feed layouts are customizable, and the plugin offers controls for background colors, custom height, and custom width. You can show or hide selected parts of feed posts, including the profile picture. Custom CSS can be added for further presentation changes. The layout is responsive and mobile friendly, and the feed content is described as crawlable by search engines.
Like Box and feed settings
Control which parts of the Facebook Page Like Box appear on the website. Available controls include the Like button, live stream, fan faces, and stream display. The plugin also lets you show or hide faces, choose the number of posts, and display Like and Share buttons for individual feed items.
Feed visibility can be configured to show posts by the page owner, everyone who posts on the Facebook page, or only other people. Social media icons can be enabled or disabled on the Facebook stream, and feed redirection is available as an option.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then open its options panel to configure a Facebook feed or Like Box. Select the profile, page, or group content to display, choose the desired layout and visibility settings, and adjust dimensions or colors.
After configuration, add the relevant shortcode to a page or post, or use the available feed widget. Review the result on desktop and mobile layouts, then adjust the feed, lightbox, widget, shortcode, or custom CSS settings to match the website.
