Build more flexible WooCommerce products
Advanced Product Fields Premium extends WooCommerce product pages with configurable input fields, visual choices, content areas, and pricing options. It is designed for products that need more than standard WooCommerce variations, such as personalized clothing, custom food orders, configurable gifts, or products that require customer-provided files and measurements.
The plugin provides a no-code builder with a workflow similar to Advanced Custom Fields. Product options can be created from WooCommerce > Product Input Fields or added from an individual WooCommerce product edit screen. Field visibility can be assigned to selected products, and the system supports simple products, variable products, separate variations, and subscriptions.
Premium fields and customer choices
Premium includes the core product option features plus additional field types for richer product configuration. Customers can upload one or multiple files, choose image, color, or text swatches, select dates with a calendar picker, and use cards that present clickable information in a structured layout.
- File uploads: collect one or multiple files with a product order.

Pricing, logic, and presentation
Conditional logic can show or hide fields according to other customer selections. Multi-select fields can have minimum and maximum selection limits, while text fields can use minimum and maximum lengths or HTML validation through regex patterns. Product option values can add a flat fee or use the calculation field for an extra cost calculation. Pricing works with WooCommerce tax settings.
When customers make selections, the submitted information is shown on the cart and checkout pages and saved with the backend order. The product image can also change on the frontend when different options are selected. Support for modern themes using Ajax add-to-cart technology helps the product option workflow fit stores using that interaction style. HTML output and actions and filters provide further ways to style or extend the plugin.
Practical product workflows
Use the Premium edition to create a pizza configurator with toppings, a custom apparel product with names or uploaded artwork, a donation product, or a multi-step product form. The available field types can support personalization, additional selections, customer files, explanatory content, and calculated information in one product flow. Add-on plugins are also available for capabilities such as live-preview configurators, enhanced file uploads, image editing, and ACF integration.
Installation and setup
Install the plugin in WordPress, then open WooCommerce > Product Input Fields to create product options. You can alternatively edit a WooCommerce product and add its fields there. Assign visibility, choose the field types, configure conditional logic or pricing, and save. The stated requirements are WooCommerce 6.0 or higher, WordPress 6.0 or higher, and PHP 7.0 or higher.
