Build larger, more useful WordPress menus
EasyMega Pro is a mega menu plugin for creating menu navigation with expanded content areas and flexible layouts. It uses a customizer-based system, so you can work with a live view while shaping the menu experience for your website.
The Pro edition combines drag-and-drop construction with content, layout, styling, and responsive controls. It is suited to websites that need more than a standard list of menu links, including sites with magazine-style navigation or menus that need additional content inside their dropdown areas.
Customizer workflow and menu building
EasyMega Pro includes a drag-and-drop mega menu builder for arranging menu content and layout. The built-in customizer system provides a live view, allowing you to see menu changes as you build them rather than relying only on a separate preview step.
You can create custom mega menu content and select a builder content layout. A magazine layout is also available for organizing larger menu areas. The plugin can inherit a menu from the theme, helping the mega menu work with an existing navigation structure.
For sites that use widgets as part of their navigation, the Pro edition lets you add widgets in menu content. This provides another way to place content within a mega menu instead of limiting each expanded area to ordinary menu items.
Layout, styling, and alignment
EasyMega Pro includes mega menu styling controls for adjusting the menu presentation. You can choose between a full-width layout and a boxed layout, depending on how the expanded menu should sit within the page.
Alignment options help control how the navigation fits the surrounding menu bar. Menu items can be aligned to the left or right of the menu bar, while submenus can be aligned to the left or right of their parent menu item.
These controls can be useful when a site has a wide navigation area, a more compact header, or menu labels that need a specific relationship to the parent item.
Responsive behavior and animation
The plugin provides a custom responsive breakpoint, allowing you to define when the menu should change behavior for different screen widths. This is useful for adapting navigation to the available space rather than relying on a single fixed layout.
Six animation options are included for menu transitions:
- Shift-up
- Shift-down
- Shift-left
- Shift-right
- Fade
- Flip
Choose the animation that suits the movement and presentation of the expanded menu.
Installation and setup
Add EasyMega Pro to the WordPress website, then open the customizer-based menu tools. Start by selecting or inheriting the menu structure you want to use. Build the mega menu with drag-and-drop controls, choose a content or magazine layout, and add widgets where required.
Next, configure the full-width or boxed layout, styling, alignment, responsive breakpoint, and animation. Use the live view to review the result while making adjustments. Additional EasyMega documentation is available for guidance during setup.
