Expand WordPress appointment scheduling
Bookly Pro is the paid add-on for the Bookly scheduling system on WordPress. It is intended for businesses that want to manage online bookings, services, staff, clients, and appointment calendars from one website. The Pro add-on extends the free Bookly setup with online payments, unlimited staff members and services, and the ability to install add-ons.
This makes Bookly suitable for a wide range of appointment-based operations, including hair salons, photography services, wealth management, transportation, and other businesses that need customers to choose a service and reserve an available time.
A straightforward customer booking flow
Bookly presents a responsive booking form that customers can use on different devices. The booking process lets them select a category, choose a service, and pick the employee who will perform it. They can then define a preferred date and time, with the system offering available time slots, and provide the requested contact details.
After a reservation is made, the appointment is added to the appointment booking calendar. Customers can receive email or SMS confirmation notifications, as well as an SMS reminder about an upcoming appointment. This gives visitors a way to schedule without directly contacting the business or its employees.
- Select a category, service, employee, date, and available time.
- Use a responsive booking form on a range of devices.
- Provide a minimum amount of contact information during booking.
- Receive email or SMS confirmation and SMS appointment reminders.
- Use online payments through the paid Bookly setup.
Useful for growing booking operations
Bookly Pro is designed for businesses that need more room to organize their scheduling operation. Unlimited staff members and services support larger or more varied appointment catalogs than the free version. Access to add-ons also allows the booking system to be extended with additional functionality as requirements develop.
For the business owner, Bookly provides an administration area for navigating the booking calendar, approving appointments, and adjusting reservations. The system brings the calendar, services, staff, and client information together, helping businesses manage reservations from the WordPress dashboard. Online payments can be used as part of the booking experience where payment collection is required.
Typical workflow
Begin by configuring categories, services, staff members, working availability, and booking rules. Add the booking form to the appropriate website page, then review the customer journey from service selection through confirmation. If the business accepts payment during booking, configure the online payment process as part of the Pro setup. Add further Bookly add-ons when a specific scheduling requirement calls for them.
Before inviting customers to book, test available time slots, staff assignments, notifications, reminders, and payment steps. This helps ensure that the calendar reflects the intended operating schedule.
Installation
Install Bookly on the WordPress website, then install and activate the Bookly Pro add-on. Configure the booking calendar, services, staff, customer notifications, and payment settings. Add the booking form to a page, complete a test reservation, and adjust the setup before making it available to customers.
