Let customers choose a WooCommerce price
Custom Price for WooCommerce PRO adds a custom price field to selected WooCommerce products, allowing customers to enter the amount they want to pay. It is designed for stores that need more flexibility than fixed product pricing provides.
The plugin can support name-your-price products, customer-adjusted prices, donations, price requests, call-for-price or price-on-demand scenarios, and online bill pay forms placed on a WooCommerce product page. It can also be used for customer-chosen prices on PDF gift cards.
PRO edition controls
The PRO edition adds controls that help store owners guide customer price input while keeping the pricing experience clear. You can define a suggested price and add suggested-price text. The suggested price can be shown as a description, value, or placeholder.
PRO also includes minimum and maximum price settings, together with text for each limit. When these controls are not needed, the minimum and maximum prices can be hidden. The add-to-cart button text can also be customized for the price-entry workflow.
- Suggested Price with configurable suggested-price text
- Suggested price displayed as a description, value, or placeholder
- Minimum Price and minimum-price text
- Maximum Price and maximum-price text
- Option to hide minimum and maximum prices
- Custom Add to Cart Button Text
Product and variation support
Custom Price for WooCommerce PRO works with both simple and variable WooCommerce products. You can enable the custom price field for the products that need it and set the custom price label globally or separately for individual products and variations.
This makes the plugin suitable for stores with a mixture of standard fixed-price products and products that require customer input. For example, a store can use customer-defined pricing for donations or bill payment while continuing to use regular pricing elsewhere in the catalogue.
Practical use cases
Use the plugin when a product should accept a customer-entered amount rather than a single fixed price. Common examples include donation products, pay-what-you-want offers, customized price requests, price-on-demand products, and customer-adjusted prices used to promote or upsell products.
The plugin also integrates with Flexible PDF Coupons, supporting own-price options for PDF gift cards. This provides a way to combine customer-selected amounts with a PDF coupon workflow when that integration is used.
