Connect Contact Form 7 with external services
Contact Form 7 to Any API PRO sends form submissions from WordPress to CRMs, webhooks, marketing platforms, and other endpoints that accept POST or GET requests with structured data. It is designed for developers, agencies, and technical teams that need control over endpoints, payloads, headers, authentication, and delivery handling without adding separate middleware.
The PRO edition builds on the base plugin’s form-to-API workflow with unlimited API connections per site and more flexible data mapping. The available PRO plans and editions include the standard PRO capabilities, while the Pro Agency License is described for use on up to 10 websites.
Advanced integration features
- Unlimited API connections per site: Configure multiple destinations for form data.
- Multiple API delivery: Send data to more than one API.
- Flexible JSON: Use multi-level or any JSON structure instead of being limited to a basic fixed format.
- Custom request fields: Define header parameters such as API keys, Bearer credentials, Basic credentials, and content type values.
- Integer fields: Choose numerical fields and map them as numeric values.
- Multiple file uploads: Support multiple uploaded files and send attachments to an API.
- Timing control: Choose whether the API request is sent before or after the Contact Form 7 email.
- Retry tools: Retry failed API calls automatically or manually, and bulk retry multiple failed calls from the log screen.
- Failure notifications: Send advanced API failure alerts to multiple recipients.
Authentication and data handling
The base integration supports POST and GET requests, Basic Auth, Bearer Auth, and file conversion to Base64 for API delivery. For services requiring more advanced authorization, the optional OAuth 2.0 and JWT PRO Add-On provides OAuth 2.0 and JWT token authentication, along with automatic access and refresh token management. The add-on is listed at $99.99.
Form submissions and API responses can be recorded in API logs. Administrators can manage submitted data, export Contact Form 7 data in CSV, Excel, PDF, or print format, and configure automatic deletion for logs older than a chosen number of days. Data remains within WordPress until it is successfully sent to the selected API.
Useful workflows
Use the plugin to route leads from Contact Form 7 into a CRM, marketing platform, webhook, or custom API. A single form can be mapped to different destinations, with structured JSON matching the receiving service. File-upload workflows can include Base64 data or send attachments through the available PRO options.
The retry and notification features are useful when an external service is temporarily unavailable or rejects a request. Logs provide a place to review submitted data and API responses, while bulk retry can help recover several failed deliveries together.
Plans and support options
The PRO version is listed at $29.99 per year and includes priority support. The Pro Agency License is described as supporting up to 10 websites at a discounted rate. Optional paid customization support is available for JWT token integration, OAuth 2.0 integration, or other API requirements.
Installation and setup
Install the base Contact Form to Any API plugin and activate the PRO edition or applicable add-on. Create an API connection, select the Contact Form 7 fields to map, then define the endpoint, request method, JSON structure, headers, and authentication. Choose the request timing and configure logs, retries, and failure notifications before testing a submission.
