Country-based control for WooCommerce catalogs
CBR PRO is a paid edition of Country Based Restrictions for WooCommerce for stores that need to control product visibility and purchasing by customer country. It builds on per-product country restrictions and adds tools for managing larger catalogs, payment methods, checkout behavior, and restriction activity.
Country rules can be configured as either inclusion or exclusion rules. An inclusion rule allows sales only in selected countries, while an exclusion rule blocks sales in the selected countries. The plugin uses the customer’s shipping country when available and falls back to WooCommerce Geolocation with MaxMind GeoIP2 when a shipping country has not yet been set.
Manage rules across product groups
CBR PRO can apply restrictions in bulk by category, tag, attribute, or shipping class. A global rule can apply across all products, helping stores manage territory requirements without opening every product individually. Bulk CSV import is available for bringing country rules into hundreds of products at once.
The paid edition also includes bulk actions for removing single-product rules from the product list. These controls can be useful when a store changes a distribution arrangement, adjusts its shipping coverage, or reorganizes its catalog.
Control the storefront experience
Restricted products can be handled in different ways. Depending on the configured visibility mode, a product may be hidden completely from the shop, search, and category pages; hidden from shop and search while remaining available through a direct URL; or displayed without allowing purchase. CBR PRO adds further storefront controls for hiding product prices by country, displaying custom restriction messages, or redirecting restricted visitors to a custom page.
- Disable selected payment gateways, including payment methods such as PayPal or Stripe, for customers from restricted countries.
- Use a country detection widget so customers can manually change the country detected on the storefront.
- Apply checkout restriction so blocked products cannot be ordered, even if a customer reaches them through another route.
- Support restrictions on individual variations within variable products.
- Work with the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks.
Reporting and testing
Restriction analytics show which countries and products trigger rules most often, ranked by volume, with restriction trends over time. Demand signal tracking records blocked attempts by country, helping identify locations where visitors seek products that are not currently offered.
Admin debug mode lets administrators preview the store as a visitor from a selected country and test rules before they go live. This is useful for checking visibility, messages, payment methods, and checkout behavior during catalog changes.

Installation
Install and activate the plugin, then go to WooCommerce > Country Restrictions to configure default visibility settings. Add or import rules, select the required visibility and checkout behavior, and use admin debug mode to test representative countries before applying the rules to customers.
