Turn WordPress content into listenable audio
AtlasVoice Pro is a text-to-speech extension for WordPress and WooCommerce. It adds audio playback to posts, pages, product descriptions, and other supported content so visitors can listen instead of reading everything on screen. This can support blogs, news websites, online stores, educational platforms, and sites serving users who prefer audio.
The Pro edition includes AtlasVoice’s own AI voice engine, with no extra API cost stated for that engine. It provides access to natural-sounding voices in 81 languages, smart sentence splitting, and audio designed to avoid mid-sentence pauses. Pro can generate MP3 files without requiring a third-party account for the AtlasVoice engine.
Choose voices and providers
From the Integration menu, connect the available text-to-speech providers and select the corresponding player from the Customization menu. In the Listening menu, choose the voice and language for the selected provider.
- AtlasVoice TTS: the included Pro voice engine with 81 languages and MP3 generation.
- Google Cloud Text to Speech: access 300 or more voices across 90 or more languages, including Neural2, WaveNet, and Standard voice types. This service is billed by Google according to usage.
- OpenAI Text to Speech: use the Alloy, Echo, Fable, Nova, Onyx, and Shimmer voices with the listed standard and HD models. This service is billed by OpenAI according to usage.
- ElevenLabs Text to Speech: connect the provider for its available text-to-speech capabilities.
Support multilingual and accessible publishing
AtlasVoice Pro supports 81 or more languages with WPML, GTranslate, TranslatePress, and Polylang. The player can detect language changes and adjust the voice accordingly. Audio alternatives may help visitors with visual impairments, dyslexia, reading difficulties, or a preference for listening, and the product information describes the feature as supporting WCAG 2.1 and ADA goals.
Control playback and content output
Use the customization tools to select player styles, colors, sizes, and other presentation settings. Pro also includes Audio Schema markup in JSON-LD for audio content. Before speaking, the plugin can remove special characters, URLs, shortcodes, and HTML tags to produce cleaner audio.
Content can be generated for custom post types, including WooCommerce products, portfolios, and testimonials. The plugin is described as compatible with Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Type UI, Toolset Types, page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Divi, caching plugins, and the listed multilingual plugins.
Developer and workflow features
Pro includes bulk operations, cloud backup, advanced analytics, more than 50 filters and hooks, and a REST API using the tta_pro/v1 namespace. These tools can support larger content workflows and programmatic audio generation.
Installation
Install and activate AtlasVoice Pro in WordPress, then choose the post types where the player should appear. Select an AI provider, voice, language, and player style from the relevant settings. If using Google Cloud, OpenAI, or ElevenLabs, configure that provider as described in its integration requirements. Publish or update content, then use the generated player for listening.
