ACF Import Pro Add-On is designed for importing data from CSV, Excel, or XML files into Advanced Custom Fields in WordPress. It works with WP All Import and provides a dedicated view of your ACF fields alongside the data contained in your source file. This makes the setup process visual: select values from the file and drag them into the appropriate fields.
The add-on is useful when you need to populate hundreds or thousands of posts without entering custom field values one by one. It supports files in different formats and structures, so your source data does not need to follow one fixed organization. CSV files can also be edited in common spreadsheet software before they are imported.

A practical import workflow
Begin with a CSV, Excel, or XML file containing the content you want to bring into WordPress. The source can use its own structure, which is helpful when data comes from a spreadsheet, export, or external website. For CSV files containing special characters, UTF-8 encoding is recommended.
After selecting the file, review the available ACF fields in the add-on panel. Match each field with a value from the imported record by dragging the data into place. The interface is intended to resemble entering custom post type data manually, while allowing the same process to be applied across many records.
For image and gallery imports, choose the relevant source location and map the corresponding file data. If the import needs to be repeated, WP All Import Pro can check a file on a schedule and apply changes to existing custom post types.
What you need
ACF imports require WP All Import and the ACF Import Add-On to be active on the site. The Pro configuration also requires WP All Import Pro, the free ACF Import Add-On, and the ACF Import Pro Add-On. The add-on works with the free version of WP All Import for the capabilities available there, while the Pro combination provides the expanded ACF field support and other paid features.
Installation and setup
Install and activate WP All Import, the ACF Import Add-On, and the required Pro components. Start a new import, choose the CSV, Excel, or XML source, and select the relevant WordPress content type. Use the ACF panel to map file values to fields, configure images or custom functions if needed, preview the result, and run the import. For recurring updates, configure the scheduled import through WP All Import Pro.
