Extend consent management for your website
UniConsent Premium is an expanded plan for the UniConsent Cookie Consent CMP – Consent Manager WordPress plugin. It provides tools for presenting consent choices, understanding consent activity, identifying cookies, controlling scripts and maintaining consent records.
The platform supports privacy frameworks and consent signals including EU IAB TCF 2.3, TCF Canada, CCPA USP, US state consent signals and IAB GPP 1.1. It also supports Google Consent Mode v2 and Microsoft UET and Bing Ads Consent Mode. UniConsent is described as an IAB-approved Consent Management Provider.
Customize the consent experience
Premium plans include custom banner text, translations and CSS styling. These options allow the consent interface to be adapted to a website’s wording, language requirements and visual presentation. The base plugin provides 11 banner styles with visual preview, including Bottom Sheet, Floating Card, Dark Compact and Popup layouts.
The plugin supports 52 or more languages and includes a privacy badge toggle. GEO targeting can show consent banners only to visitors in specific regions. These controls are useful when a site needs different consent presentations based on visitor location or wants to provide a visible privacy control.
Review consent and discover cookies
The Premium plan includes a consent rate analytics dashboard for reviewing consent activity. Website cookie discovery and disclosure help identify cookies used on the site and present related information to visitors.
ConsentDB consent logging provides a way to record consent information. JavaScript and cookie blocking can help control third-party code and cookies according to the consent choices collected through the banner. The available integrations and consent signals support use with services such as Google Ad Manager, Google AdX, Google AdSense, Prebid.js, Amazon APS, Facebook Pixel and LinkedIn Pixel.
Support common privacy workflows
UniConsent is intended for websites that need a consent management layer for privacy-related controls. It is compatible with the WP Consent API and supports cookie ePrivacy consent. The first-party CMP domain is included with the Premium plan, and priority support is also part of the plan.
The plugin can be used to configure GDPR and/or CCPA compliance settings, choose a banner style and save the configuration. Its consent tools are intended to help obtain and manage visitor choices, but activating the plugin does not guarantee full GDPR compliance. The source recommends contacting a GDPR consultant or law firm to assess the measures required for a particular website.
Installation and setup
Install and activate the UniConsent WordPress plugin, choose a banner style, enable the relevant GDPR and/or CCPA compliance options, and save. For Premium capabilities, configure custom text, translations, CSS, analytics, cookie discovery, blocking and consent logging according to the site’s workflow.
