Run petitions directly from your WordPress site
SpeakOut! Pro extends SpeakOut! Email Petitions for organizations, campaigns, and community websites that need to manage more than one petition. The Pro version unlocks the ability to run unlimited campaigns, while retaining the core tools for collecting signatures and sending petition messages to a specified email address.
Each petition can be presented through a form on your site. When a visitor submits it, a copy of the message is sent to the email address you specify, such as the address of a mayor or another target recipient. The message is signed with the contact information supplied by the form submitter. Visitors can also choose to receive a BCC copy of the email themselves.
Build and manage petition campaigns
Use separate campaigns for different causes, requests, or audiences. Petition signatures are stored in the WordPress database, giving you a central place to manage collected responses. When you need to review or analyze the data elsewhere, signatures can be exported to CSV format. The plugin provides export functionality; it does not provide an import function.
To give visitors a clear view of campaign progress, you can set a signature goal. A progress bar then tracks the petition’s movement toward that goal. The goal can also update automatically when a specified percentage of the goal is reached. This gives campaign pages a visible way to communicate momentum without requiring manual progress updates.
Petitions may also be configured to stop accepting new signatures on a specified date. This is useful for time-limited campaigns, scheduled actions, or petitions that need to close at a defined stage.
Encourage sharing and follow-up
After signing, visitors have the option to share the petition page with their followers on Facebook or X. SpeakOut! Pro also adds an email sharing option, giving supporters another way to pass the petition along.
The Pro version includes expanded integration with third-party mailing services. This supports workflows where petition activity is part of a broader email communication process. Use the petition form to collect responses, send the petition message to its intended recipient, and encourage supporters to share the campaign through available channels.
